Adaeze is doing very important work with the Road to Motherhood Podcast and I was so honored to have been a guest on her show.

This conversation was incredible honest and vulnerable and open because I believe that a mom to be will find some enlightenment and a mom will find some encouragement knowing she is not alone in the experience that is motherhood.

Motherhood for me came with many surprises, good and not so great, the amazing changes, the near death experience, the support I received, the knowledge I have gained, the power that I did not know I had to withstand pain, the beautiful love that is motherhood, I shared it all.

I had so much fun doing this, is a wonderful interviewer and conversationalist and talking with her was delightful, I couldn’t help but open up, and we had so many experiences in common and we both share a great love for the Series 😀

Candid Shot from the unstoppable woman conference event that a dear friend sent to me this morning.

I was giving the opening remarks at the conference and charging women to open their minds to greater possibilities and to start thinking differently about wealth creation.

A long time ago, I closed my eyes and saw myself in a red dress, standing infront of a glass podium and speaking passionately to a room full of women.

Safe to say that what I visualized back then has happened and will keep on happening. I am grateful to God almighty, the Grand designer of my life and destiny.

Nobody ever agrees that they are addicted to their phone. But it’s a thing that has kept so many people back from achieving their goals. That mindless scrolling for hours and before you realize, the whole day is gone and nothing achieved.

Some will use the excuse of getting information, doing research or even learning, to stay glued to their phones or worse, social media apps. But if we are honest, we will know that most of it is just mindless scrolling and that’s how social media app have been designed it to be. They want you to stay on the app as long as can be. Even people who don’t post anything, for days, weeks, months will stay on the app doing nothing, just wasting time.

Phone use has to be regulated, if you are going to be a mindful, present and functioning member of society. If you want to achieve set goals, you must learn to draw your self away from the addiction to checking this and checking that.

The reason why you don’t have time (for all the important things you should be doing) is because of your phone. Put your phone down for 12 hours straight, don’t pick it up even once, and see how much you will achieve.
