🕊️ A Call for Peace Ahead of the Upcoming Elections

The Director-General of the Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe Annual Award Lecture has called on Nigerian politicians, political stakeholders, and citizens to embrace peace, tolerance, responsible leadership, and issue-based engagement as the nation approaches the upcoming elections.

In this important message, he reminds us that peace is a shared responsibility While political leaders have a duty to promote unity and responsible politics, every Nigerian citizen also has a role to play in protecting the peace and stability of our nation.

As we approach the elections, let us choose dialogue over division, tolerance over hostility, and nation-building over political differences.

Nigeria belongs to all of us. Let us protect our democracy and our peace together. 🇳🇬
