The Integrated Modern Abattoir of the National Association of Nigerian Traders fully commences operations today Monday 4th December, 2023 in Giri-Gwagwalada, Abuja.

The first of its kind to be experienced in modern meat production, preparation, processing and packaging to meet best hygienic standards with a pure quest of setting a remarkable pace in the Nigerian meat value chain enterprise.

The meat factory which is all encompassing comprises of a lairage, stunning chamber, a slaughter hall, meat washing units, refrigerated room, meat drying units and more; with training halls for staff capacity building as an incorporated tool for internal quality control and evaluation, all powered by a built in biogas digester.

The meat factory in its entirety details an epitome in working the talk to ensuring food safety by promoting standard operations for quality meat handling for improved consumer health.

Hence, all and sundry are by this, called to patronize this novel development to experience quality meat consumption in the FCT and beyond!
