Today, a delegation of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) led by the National President, Comrade Audu Titus Amba held a crucial meeting with the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa at the Minister's Conference Hall, Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja.

Deliberations in the meeting involve policy issues such as Exemption of College of Education candidates from JAMB exams, Articulation of JSS and SSS, and WAEC/NECO exam fees. Other matters discussed include insecurity and attacks on schools, Teachers' welfare, 2026 World Teachers' Day celebration, and NUT National Conference of Delegates, 2026.

Also in attendance were the Hon. Minister of State for Education, Registrar/Chief Executive of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), President of NUT, Secretary General of the NUT, Chairman NUT Federal Wing, Secretary NUT Federal Wing among others.
