SECURITY EDUCATION TRAINING AND AWARENESS PROGRAM ( SEPTAP)
AFTERMATH OF ARREST AND SEARCH WARRANTS
It is important to have an understanding about the aftermath of arrest and search warrant, this is to help you calm the concern about what next when law enforcement officers carry out their arrest and search warrant.
After every issued warrant, law enforcement officers will work to locate and arrest the individual named in the warrant. The suspect is taken into custody, booked, and processed. They are then usually brought before a court for an arraignment, where they hear their charges, and bail may be set. For search warrants, officers will search the specified location for the evidence listed, potentially seizing additional evidence of other crimes.
For an Arrest Warrant:
Law Enforcement Action:
Officers will actively search for you to execute the warrant, which can happen at any time and place.

When law enforcement finds you, they will arrest you, take you into custody, and read you your rights.
Booking and Processing:
You will be fingerprinted and photographed, and your information will be processed.
Court Appearance:
You will be brought before a judge for an arraignment, where you'll hear the specific charges and potentially enter a plea.
Bail:
The court may set a bail amount, which could allow you to be released while awaiting trial.
