The spirit of volunteerism is universal and in Nigeria, communities recognize it too.
In Hausa, it’s called aikin sa-kai!
In Igbo, ọrụ afọ ofufo!
and ìyọọda in Yoruba!
But the message is the same!
It is all about showing up, serving others and creating change.
Across the length and breadth of Nigeria, volunteers are showing up in their communities, using their time, skills and energy to support the SDGs and make a difference where it matters most.
This , we celebrate every volunteer turning commitment into action.
