2. On Constitutional Review Pertaining Member’s Rights:
It will be recalled that in May; the House sat to review the constitution; particularly in the section that bothered on the welfare/ rights of members.

The review was both timely and necessary, considering the current economic situation, and it’s significance on members who are celebrating, and are expected to present food, drinks and water to the House.
While the reviews made in May still subsists, the new consideration or addition made is for parents whose children are wedding; or who are doing any other form of celebration.
So, the new and comprehensive review is thus:
• For Weddings:
The Meeting will give the member N*****

3. Concerning IWBA Investment Programme/ Return on Investment:
There were debates and calls for the incumbent Chairman; Dcn. Stephen Chukwu; to increase the Return on Investment on the Investment Programme that the Union had with him.
He said that it will not be possible to honour the request, citing poor economic situation as the basis for his decision.
While the debate was still going on, he returned the loan of N***** to the Union’s purse; and expressed dissatisfaction over how the issue that led to that time has been; saying that he had even intended to return the loan before then.

On the other hand, members also felt dissatisfied, saying that the Chairman overreacted by returning the money even when the matter was still in deliberation.

However, the Return on Investment had been paid up to June. He seized the opportunity to inform the House on how much is in the Union’s purse; which is in the tune of N******; thereabout.

So, by the foregoing, the Investment Programme has been abruptly terminated.

4. Chairman’s Business Agenda:
Sequel to the termination of the Union’s Investment Programme, the Chairman presented a list of possible business plans to which the Union can venture should they be interested.
He said that the Union has the discretion of buying into any of the ideas or business plans, in order to make profit from the idle funds lying in the Union’s account.
The agenda includes:
- Grain storage business
- Red oil business, and
- Soft loans to members
5. Clarifications Concerning Bros. Abbahson Kalu & Emeka Ike:
It was reported in the meeting that the 2 members mentioned above lost someone around them. For clarification, Bro. Abbahson Kalu lost his mother’s younger sister; while Bro. Emeka Ike lost his father.
Both of them are in the East at the moment owing to the incidence.

A welfare levy of N3000 shall be paid by each member; while
the member/celebrant shall give the House:
* 2 cartons of malt,
* a cooler of food with enough meats,
* 5 pack of bottle water,
* and 1 bag of pure water

• For Child Dedications:
The Meeting will give the member N*****
A welfare levy of N2000 shall be paid by each member, while
the member shall give the House:
* 2 cartons of malt,
* a cooler of food with enough meats,
* 5 pack of bottle water,
* and 1 bag of pure water

•For Parents whose children are wedding/ Any other form of celebration:
The Meeting will give them N****
A welfare levy of N1500 shall be paid by each member; while
The member will give the House:
*A bottle of wine
