Dear young woman,

You don’t need to have your whole life figured out immediately.

You just need the right space to figure things out one step at a time.

There comes a time in your life when you start asking yourself;

Who am I?

What do I really want?

Why do I feel stuck?

What am I actually good at?

How do I become the woman I know I’m meant to be?

And sometimes, the problem isn’t that you’re not smart.

Girl! You are seriously smart.

You’ve just never had the right guidance, support, or someone in your corner to help you make sense of it all.

That’s exactly why Serenity Space exists.

A safe and intentional space where young women don’t just discover themselves.

They gain clarity, build confidence, discover their strengths, and start creating a life that lines up with the woman they want to become.

See, sometimes, you don’t need someone to tell you what to do year in, year out.

You need someone to help you see what’s already inside of you.

Get ready for our upcoming two days intensive Personal Transformation class.

Learning. Unlearning. Relearning.

I used to think girls needed more confidence.

Now I know many of them need more permission. Permission builds more confidence.

Permission to ask questions without feeling stupid.

Permission to fail once in a while without judgment.

Permission to make mistakes and learn from them.

Permission to be clueless about something they were never taught.

Permission to change their minds about something they are not comfortable with.

Permission to admit that they are struggling.

Permission to dream beyond what their environment has shown them.

Permission to become something different from what everyone expected.

In the course of mentoring girls, I have realised that sometimes the problem isn't that a girl lacks potential.

She has simply spent too much time being told what she must do, instead of being guided to understand why.

"Don't talk too much."

"Don't be too ambitious."

"That's not for girls like you."

"Be realistic."

"Who do you think you are?"

"You are not all that."

These are some of the things many young women grow up hearing and gradually, those voices become their own.

This is one of the reasons I founded Golden Lines Network and Serenity Space.

Not because I believe every young woman needs to be "fixed" but because I believe many of them need environments where they can discover themselves before the world defines them.

The work is not always about teaching her a skill.
It is not just about telling her to "believe in herself"

It is about helping her understand who she is, what she carries, what she can become, and how to make decisions that honour her future.

Empowering young women isn't simply about putting something in their hands.

Sometimes, it is about helping young people remove the limitations that have been placed in their minds.

And honestly, that kind of work takes time.

But it is worth it.

In our mentorship sessions, young women learn, unlearn and relearn.

One girl at a time!
