Welcome to day four of reasons why roofs leak. Every roof tells a story but only the ones with the right slope and strong kink will stay leak free. Whether you’re building with wood or iron rafters, the secret to a lasting roof is in the angle and the support. A well-defined slope ensures that rain water flows quickly preventing pooling, sagging, eventual leaks. Without it, water retention because the rafter causes rots in the wood and rusts in the iron. So in conclusion, you need the right slope. Whether you are using a hidden roof or a hipped roof, make sure that when you do your pool line, your roof properly slopes to allow water flow freely and to avoid water retention because that actually causes leak whether on your wood rafter or on your iron rafter. Please make sure that you use the accurate kink holes and make sure that either your hidden roof or your heat roofs are properly sloped to avoid leakage. Thank you for watching. With over 13 years of experience of recent, I’ve gotten a lot of DMs that says, why do roofs leak? And I’m going to tell you, not from any book, but from my own real life experience for the past 13 years. All I want you to do is come on this journey with me as we take it a step at a time because it is a lot. You might be part of that problem, but don’t worry, I will explain it the way you understand. Let’s dive right into it. So number one reason will be pole line spacing. Don’t worry, let me break it down. So when we talk about pole line spacing, we’re really talking about the backbone of your roofing system. Now, every type of roofing sheet has its own spacing needs. When we talk about step tiles and metcopo, we’re talking about a more detailed and controlled profile. The pole lines are often placed together, closer together, at about 0.3 or 300 Gart And each one of those pole lines give support and give sturdiness to the pole lines. Now we’re talking about long span. So on the other hand, long span, the sheets are often more detailed, distributed, and to cover a bigger or a wider space with fewer support. So meaning that you can spread those pole lines a little bit out. And this can be 0.7, which is 700 Gart 0.8, which is 800 Gart One meter, if the material is up to 0.7, and in alloys, 0.3 gauge, right? The thicker the material, you can now spread out. But one meter is accurate. That would be my advice. So in conclusion, the pole line spacing ensures that your roofing sheet has the right support and stability. And it helps to balance load distribution. And it also helps your roof to be stable, to be secure, and to be durable. I know contact us for your roofing sheets, that one that you can trust. See you on the next video. Thank you and God bless.
