Welcome address by the president during the 2024 Retreat of the Rotary Club of Abuja Capital Territory:

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Rotary Club of Abuja Capital Territory's retreat. My name is Daramola Adeniyi and I am honored to serve as your president this year.

I would like to start by thanking each and every one of you for taking the time to join us today. Your presence here is a testament to your commitment to our club's values and mission.

Today, we have an exciting lineup of speakers and activities planned for you. Our guest speakers, AG Rotarian Winifred Ogbebor, Rotarian Rabi Mohammed, and Rotarian John Moses, will be sharing their insights and expertise on various topics, including building a strong and active club, strategies for attracting and retaining new members, and the benefits of being a Rotarian.

I am confident that today's retreat will be a valuable opportunity for us to come together, share ideas, and learn from each other. It will also be a chance for us to reflect on our club's accomplishments and challenges, and to look ahead to the opportunities and possibilities that the future holds.

Before we begin, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to our club's members, who have worked tirelessly to make today's event a success. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I reflect on the outpouring of love and support shown to me during my investiture ceremony as the 8th President of the Rotary Club of Abuja Capital Territory. Your presence meant the world to me, and I am humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in me.

Thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and commitment to our shared values of service above self. I am honored to lead this vibrant club, and I look forward to working together to make a meaningful impact in our community.
