November 25, International Day of Elimination of Violence against Women, we stand with every woman and girl in Nigeria whose safety has been threatened by insecurity, violence, kidnapping, and fear.

Violence against women does not only happen in homes, it happens on our roads, in our schools, in our communities, and in places where safety should be guaranteed.
No woman should disappear.
No girl should live in fear.
No mother should worry about returning home safely.

As insecurities continue across the nation, women and children remain the most vulnerable.
This is why we speak today, not in anger, but in unity; not in fear, but in courage.

We call for a Nigeria where women and girls can walk freely, learn freely, live freely, and dream freely without threats to their lives.
We call for communities that protect, not harm.
We call for leaders, families, and citizens to rise together and defend the dignity and safety of women.

Violence against one woman is violence against us all.
A nation cannot grow when its women are unsafe.
Our future depends on the peace and protection we build today.

On this day, we say:
No more violence.
No more fear.
No more silence.
