Sir, ​When you were appointed as the Minister of Defense, joy filled our ranks. We celebrated because we believed a leader who truly understood the pliqht and daily struggles of the Nigerian soldier had finally taken the helm.

​While you were with us in Jaji as the Commander of the Infantry Corps, you were always outspoken about troop welfare.
​Sir, respectfully, what now happened to changed?
​Today, our reality is grim.

​ Our salaries are nothing to write home about. We are basically living in abject poverty.

​ Many of us received our salaries this evening; by tomorrow morning, it is completely gone. Inflation and high prices have swallowed it whole.

​ As we sacrifice our lives on the front-lines for this nation, our families struggłe for basic needs. Instead of taking care of our loved ones, we end up begging our aged parents at home for financial support.

​ I often wonder how Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) with four or more children are managing to cope in this håŕd economy.

​There is serious grumbling and deep-seated discontent among the rank and file of the Armed Forces. The pressure is building up rapidly, and the morale on the ground is at an all-time low.

​People used to say "As pø0r as a church rat," but these days, the popular saying is "As pøøŕ as a Nigerian soldier."

South Africa’s Foreign Minister 🇿🇦 arrived in Nigeria, clearly on edge, attempting to explain himself and smooth over recent tensions. But the reception he got in Abuja in Abuja was silence and cold, not a single top cabinet minister was there to welcome him. 🥶🇳🇬

​To make matters worse, they didn't even match him or make him meet with the main Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Instead, he was redirected and handed over to speak with an ambassador (the minister of state for Foriegn Affairs).

During a dark chapter in the w0rr on terrøŕ, a reeling ßoko Haram, desperate under relentless Nigerian military onslaughts, pivoted to a harrowing new tactic, deploying young girls as şúicide bombers.

​Exploiting societal norms, the insurgents began sending girls (some as young as 16) on infiltration missions. Unlike male fiqhters, who immediately triggered alarm bells at security checkpoints, these girls could blend in and approach targets without raising suspicion.

​Deployed in pairs, their primary objective was to pe*****te military positions around Maiduguri. They would lie in wait, approach passing army patrols or convoys under the guise of ordinary civilians, and detonate concealed expIosive vests strapped to their bodies.

​As the pattern emerged, troops in Maiduguri quickly decoded the tactic. Vigilance spiked, and security forces began intercepting these young girls well before they could reach their intended targets or inflict mass casualties.
