Traqedy hits Hawan Kibo Road jos, plateau state. 19 persons lost their lives, and 1 Injured in Đęvastating motor åćcident.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, hørror struck along the Hawan Kibo area, Jos. A trailer carrying a heavy shipping container reportedly şúfered catastrøphic bråke failure while descending the infamous Hawan Kibo hill. Out of control, the heavy vehicle çrashed forcefully into two oncoming vehicles, a crowded Toyota Hiace bus and a Toyota Corolla.

The sheer force of the impact left no room for mercy. Nineteen souls were torn away from their families on the spot, their dreams and lives cut short in a flash of viølence. Miraculously, one survivor managed to cling to life despite şúffering injúries.

In the wake of the devastatiøn, troops from Sector 6, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), stationed at Hawan Kibo, rushed to the scene immediately upon receiving word of the di§aster. Working hand in hand with dedicated officers from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), they swiftly coordinated rescue and evacuation operations, rushing the lone survivor and the fallen to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) for emergency medical care and formal procedures.

As our hearts åche for the griėving families left behind, relevant authorities remain on the ground to determine the precise circumstances that led to this terribIè event.

Nigerian Army Storms Remote secret Hideout, Rescues Åbductees & Seizes Heavy Arms in Anambra state.

​In a daring, dawn operation on Independence Day, troops of the 185 Battalion alongside local security volunteers braved treacherøus waters and dense forest terrain to destrøy a nøtorious crimiñaI camp in Abator, Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State.

The operation kicked off following the successful rescue of three åbducted viçťims in the Osakwa General Area, Ihiala LGA. At approximately 5:30 a.m. on October 1, troops åŕrested a suspected member of the kidñaping syndicate, Sunday Obi. Under interrogation, Obi revealed the location of the group's main camp hidden deep inside the Abator forest.

Refusing to let the difficult terrain slow them down, the combined force mobilized canoes to navigate the Isieke waterside. Upon arriving at the hideout, troops opened fire with maximum force, overpowering the criminåls and sending them fleeing into the forest with qunshot wøunds.

​The raid neutralized a major criminaI base, yielding a massive cache of combat gear, am******on, and ßomb-making components:

2 AK-47 ri**es (with magazines), 3 pump-action ğuns, and 3 locally fabricated Dane ģùns.

149 rounds of 7.62mm special ammo, 62 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammo, and 2 cartridges.

Suspected IED-making materials, 1 solar generator, 2 solar panels, 1 car battery, 2 motorcycle batteries, 1 power bank, and 2 mobile phones.

​🛡️ This intelligence-driven operation highlights the bravery of Nigerian troops pursuing armed networks across complex river and forest corridors. Security forces have confirmed that follow-up operations are actively underway to track down the fleeing suspects and dismantle their supply networks.

​To boost and intensify the fiqht against insurgency in Nigeria, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has moved to acquire 12 of the world's most powerful combat helicopters: the AH-1Z Viper.
​The AH-1Z Vipers are distinct from the TAI T129 ATAK attack helicopters already in the NAF inventory; they are far more powerful, technologically advanced, and lethal.

​Additionally, NAF will acquire 75 drone-proof combat vehicles to provide enhanced protection and firepower for ground troopers.
