Something we've been quietly working towards is beginning to take shape.

Our next physical school outreach is coming soon, and preparations are already happening behind the scenes.

We believe that education isn't only about what happens inside a classroom.

Sometimes, it's also about showing a child that someone believes in them.

We're looking forward to creating another meaningful experience for children and supporting their educational journey.

And if you live in Lagos and would love to be part of the outreach (whether as a volunteer, supporter, or in another capacity), stick around.
We'll be sharing more soon.

Coursera Impact — 300+ Women and Counting

Last year, we partnered with Coursera to give women access to high-demand digital skills FOR FREE.

Since then, more than 500 women have directly enrolled and benefited from the opportunity, learning and earning certificates across courses such as:

Digital Marketing • Human Resources • Customer Support • Cybersecurity • Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management • Data Analysis • Graphic Design • Virtual Assistance • UI/UX and more.

But numbers only tell part of the story.
The women who took the opportunity can tell you the rest.

Today, we're starting a series where we'll let you hear directly from some of our learners.

Swipe through to meet five of them and hear what they had to say about their learning experience.

If you've benefited from our Coursera opportunity, your story could be next.

And if you'd love to be one of our next BHF × Coursera beneficiaries, stay connected and watch out for updates from us.

EMPOWERHER IS COMING!

If you thought Cohorts 1 and 2 were powerful, just wait until you see what's coming next.

We've had the privilege of training women in skills including:
Graphic Design • Content Writing • Content Creation • Digital Product Creation & Mastery • Data Reselling • AI Image & Video Creation • Social Media Management • Video Editing • Cloud Computing, and more.
…But we're not stopping here.

EmpowerHer Cohort 3 is on its way, and this time, it'll be BIGGER and BETTER!
More opportunities to learn.
More practical skills.

More women equipped to create, grow, and thrive.

We can't reveal everything just yet, but trust us, you'll want to be here when it goes live.

So, keep following our social media pages and turn on your notifications so you're among the first to know when registration opens.

And don't keep this opportunity to yourself. Tell a woman you know (and love).

There's more to the Blooming Hearts Foundation than what you see on our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages.

We have created different spaces where our community can stay connected, discover opportunities, access helpful resources, and keep up with everything happening at BHF.

Slack: Jobs, opportunities, updates and community conversations.
Telegram: Important announcements and programme updates.

YouTube: Helpful resources and educational content.

If you haven't joined yet, this is your sign.
And if you're already part of our community, share these spaces with someone who could benefit from them. Let's keep growing together.

8 weeks. 16 weekend classes. Countless lessons, questions, challenges, and moments of growth.

Our Cloud Computing Bootcamp has officially come to an end!
From the first class on July 11 to our final class on Sunday, August 30, our participants showed up and committed themselves to learning a new skill.
And now, those who met the requirements have been certified!

To every woman who participated: well done!

Your certificate is a reminder of the time, effort, and commitment you invested in yourself. And remember, this is only the beginning. Don't stop. Keep learning.

Put yourself out there. Apply for internships. Show up.

If you were part of the programme and qualified for certification, check your email for your certificate.
This is only the beginning.

September is here!

And as we step into a new month, we're reminded of how far we've come and how much more there is to do.

From empowering women with digital skills to creating access to learning opportunities, every programme is a step toward our bigger vision: empowering women, educating communities, and creating opportunities that transform lives.

Our Cloud Computing Bootcamp has officially come to an end, our Coursera learners continue to learn and grow, and exciting plans are taking shape behind the scenes.

There's so much ahead.

Stay connected. You don't want to miss what we're building.

Happy New Month from all of us at Blooming Hearts Foundation!

Impact is never created alone.

As we prepare for our upcoming school outreach, we're reminded that every act of kindness makes a difference.

Whether it's sharing our message, volunteering your time, contributing resources, or simply cheering us on, you're helping create opportunities for children to thrive.

In the coming weeks, we'll share how you can be part of this journey.
Together, we can reach more children.

Success isn't built overnight.
It's built course by course, lesson by lesson, and day by day.

Our learners continue to take advantage of opportunities to build new skills through our Coursera Learning Programme, and we're excited to see their progress.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Your future self will thank you.

School outreach is about so much more than distributing supplies.
It's about reminding children that they matter.

It's about inspiring confidence, encouraging dreams, and creating moments that leave a lasting impact.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment that supports their growth.

As we prepare for our upcoming school outreach, we're excited about the lives we'll be privileged to touch. Stay connected; we can't wait to share more.

Six weeks ago, many of our participants were stepping into the world of cloud computing for the very first time.

Today, they're growing in confidence, expanding their knowledge, and proving that learning new skills is possible with consistency and determination.

We're incredibly proud of every participant who continues to show up and grow.

The future belongs to those who never stop learning.
