Nedeevah Foundation Rekindling the hopes of children in Northern Nigeria through access to Healthcare and Education.

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, we brought the 2025 Zero Malaria Outreach to life at the Apo IDP Camp and what a humbling, impactful day it was.

Out of a population of over 2,000 people, we were able to medically reach more than 700 individuals, including sick children and pregnant women those who are most vulnerable to malaria and other preventable illnesses. Through this outreach, we provided free malaria testing, treatment, consultations, and essential drug administration. For illnesses beyond malaria, where we lacked some medications, we offered prescriptions and are actively working on providing small funds to help them get the drugs they need.

Though we intended to distribute mosquito nets before the outreach, the delay did not stop our resolve. With the rainy season intensifying, we are committed to returning soon with nets to continue the fight against malaria where it matters most.

Beyond healthcare, we were also able to distribute clothing and shoes to children ranging from just 2 months old to 15 years. The joy on their faces reminded us why we do what we do.

This outreach would not have been possible without the support of our passionate volunteers who gave their time, skill, and hearts to serve such as Ikechukwu Ibeh, Fatu Idoko ,Kessiena Ojenima , Deborah Frank Inyang , And to every donor, supporter, and partner who stood with us you were right there with us in every moment towards achieving this. Thank you.

At Nedeevah Aid Foundation, we believe that health, dignity, and opportunity are not privileges they are rights. And we will keep showing up, one community at a time.

Every year, thousands of children under the age of five lose their lives to a disease that is completely preventable and treatable. In underserved communities, the situation is worse. lack of access to mosquito nets, quality healthcare, and proper treatment options means that malaria continues to claim lives daily.
The government must strengthen its response by:
Ensuring free and fair distribution of mosquito nets, Improving access to affordable malaria testing and treatment, Equipping primary healthcare centers in rural and hard to reach areas, Launching community based awareness campaigns on prevention and proper drug use
At Nedeevah Aid Foundation, we’ve seen the faces behind the statistics.Over the years, we’ve taken action by Providing malaria drugs and treatment to vulnerable families, Distributing insecticide treated mosquito nets in at risk communities, Raising awareness on the dangers of drug abuse and misuse, Teaching families how to use mosquito nets correctly not for fishing, not for storage, but for protection
