On September 16, 2025, ACCI President, Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, reaffirmed the private sector’s commitment to modernising Nigeria’s railway sector at the 2nd Abuja International Railway Conference & Exhibition.

He described railways as “central to industrialisation, trade facilitation, and regional integration in Africa.”

Through flagship initiatives like the Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF), FARMFATECH, and its Centres of Excellence (DRC, PAC, ATC & BEST), ACCI continues to promote trade, investment, policy advocacy, and entrepreneurship development.

Chief Obegolu urged stakeholders to seize this platform to build partnerships, exchange ideas, and strengthen Africa’s railway systems for sustainable growth and connectivity.

ACCI remains committed to being a bridge between policy and business, creating opportunities, driving trade, and supporting industries across Nigeria and Africa.
