Our TV Broke — and It Ended Up Being the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Our Family ❤️📺

When our TV broke last December, we decided not to replace it for six months… and honestly, it changed everything.

Without a TV, the kids started reading more, playing together, and spending evenings outside with friends. As a family, we began to talk more, laugh more, cook together, play games, and truly enjoy each other’s company again.

Last weekend, we even hosted our own family sip & paint — complete with homemade meat pie, chicken wings, and puff puff. What was supposed to be just an activity turned into a full day of joy, laughter, and connection.

Now it’s been 10 months without a TV, and we’re not in a hurry to get one back. Screentime is down, family time is up — and it feels amazing.

Best family decision ever.
