The Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW), Ogun State Council expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, CFR, the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF FORMER PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW), Ogun State Council, extends its deepest condolences to the family of Former President Muhammadu Buhari, the people of Nigeria, and the entire global community on the demise of a statesman whose life was dedicated to national service.

This loss is not only personal to his family, but a moment of deep sorrow for the entire nation. Former President Buhari’s legacy is marked by his unwavering commitment to leadership, patriotism, and the pursuit of a better Nigeria. During his tenure as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he made bold efforts to confront the nation’s challenges from tackling insecurity and fighting corruption, to initiating infrastructure and economic reforms that sought to uplift the nation’s future.

Though his administration was faced with trials, his courage to make difficult decisions for the collective good of the country will be remembered. His dedication to Nigeria’s unity and sovereignty has left a lasting imprint on our history.

At this critical moment, we stand in solidarity with his family, loved ones, and all Nigerians in mourning this great loss.
