One of the things that made Ileya a memorable celebration for us when we were young was seeing our ram tied in front of our house weeks before Ileya day.

Our fathers will buy the rams and we get to play with them before slaughtering for salah.

The boys in the family will playfully feed the rams with a raised shoulder.😂

May Allah bless our fathers for those efforts and most importantly for making us happy.

Today, some of these fathers are still alive but we don't remember reciprocating the happiness they put on our faces when we were young.

If you are that type of child, have a rethink please.🙏🏻

Ileya ram is a big deal for many of our parents. They love and cherish it so much.

Happiness is the best medicine for our aged ones. Struggle to fulfill this obligation. It's one of the ways to get blessings from your Lord.

Don't be too carried away with the poor economy and personal expenses.

Include your parents in your budget.

Oya, have you sent Grandpa and Grandma's ram? Or Ileya money?

Do it now, it's getting late.
