The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the printing of the 2026 UTME Original Result Slip is not yet available for candidates.

According to the Board, the delay is because the recently concluded foreign examinations and arrangements for the mop-up UTME are still being finalised for candidates who missed the main exam due to no fault of theirs.

JAMB further explained that since the UTME is a ranking examination, the Original Result Slip includes candidates’ ranking positions. For this reason, all related admission processes must be fully completed before the slips can be issued.

The Board assured candidates that the printing portal will be opened soon after all necessary adjustments are completed, and an official announcement will be made when it is ready.

JAMB apologised for the delay and asked candidates to remain patient and understanding.

𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬
1. Candidates who chose Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka or its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have the required 160 Pass mark are eligible to apply.

2. Candidates who did not choose NAU as their first choice university but scored the eligible Pass mark of 160 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB CBT Centers for a change of institution.

3. Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree or A' level in relevant disciplines and subjects.

4. Direct Entry candidates must also ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and hard copies of their JAMB E-slip, O'level result/s, OND/HND/First Degree or A'level result/s to the office of Deputy Registrar (Admissions) on or before Sunday 21st June, 2026.

5. Any DE candidate whose transcript is not received before the stipulated period will not be considered for admission.

𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘
A. Registration starts on Wednesday 27th May, 2026 and ends on Sunday 21st June, 2026.

B. Change of course or Change of institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (and its affiliate institutions) ends Sunday 14th June, 2026. Any change done after this date will not be valid.

C. Compulsory upload of O'level result/s (and A'level result/s for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS.

D. Monitor your personal phone number, email and UNIZIK website for more details of the Post UTME/ r DE screening exercise.

E. Candidates who did not register online will not be involved in the screening exercise.

2026 POST-UTME & ADMISSIONS UPDATE
NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY (NDU)

KEY DATES & PROCESS
▫️ Registration opens: 1st June
▫️Registration closes: 31st July
▫️Screening exam: 12th – 17th August
▫️Screening mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
▫️Application portal: NDU official online portal
▫️Form fee: ₦2,000 only

ELIGIBILITY & CUT-OFF
▫️Institution: Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amasoma, Bayelsa State
▫️General cut-off mark: 160
▫️ Eligibility rule: NDU must be your 1st choice only
▫️ Subjects for screening: Same as your UTME subject combination
▫️Direct Entry candidates: Ensure all documents are uploaded by 20th August

CHANGE OF INSTITUTION
If NDU isn’t your current 1st choice, switch to NDU and register for the Post-UTME.

WHAT TO STUDY – RECOMMENDED MATERIALS

1. SCIENCE: Lamlad Series, New School Series, All Inclusive Calculations in Physics, Outline Chemistry
2. ARTS/COMMERCIAL: Comprehensive, Essentials, Exam Focus Series
3. PAST QUESTIONS: JAMB, WAEC, UI Post-UTME, plus OJCA training past questions
4. USE OF ENGLISH: Invisible Teacher for JAMB Use of English
5. LITERATURE: Focus on the novels listed in the UTME syllabus

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ASPIRANTS:

6. POST-UTME IS LESS PREDICTABLE THAN UTME. Prepare harder. Unlike UTME, the questions aren’t tied to a fixed syllabus, so don’t rely on guesswork.

7. QUESTIONS ARE FEWER BUT SPREAD ACROSS MANY TOPICS. Surface-level reading won’t cut it. Cover as much as you can – over-preparation is better than under-preparation.

8. AIM FOR THE HIGHEST SCORE POSSIBLE if you want your original course. Go for 100% accuracy. It’s doable with the right prep.

9. HIGH UTME SCORES DON’T GUARANTEE ADMISSION. We’ve seen candidates with 300+ miss out because they didn’t take POST-UTME seriously.

10. COMPETITIVE COURSES LIKE MBBS, ENGINEERING, LAW, PHARMACY NEED EXTRA EFFORT. Treat your prep like your admission depends on it – because it does.

11. START EARLY. Most students who underperform do so because they started late, not because they lack ability. Begin now.
