This little girl is seeing a doctor for the first time since she was born.

No checkups. No treatment. No access to healthcare — just silent suffering.

Today, at an Abby Cares clinic, she was examined, treated, and given the care every child deserves.

This World Health Day 2026, Abby Cares Foundation is showing the need for accessible health care through FREE community medical outreaches to rural communities in Nigeria; bringing healthcare closer to those who need it most.

Hospital or Home Birth?
What Rural Mothers in Nigeria Really Choose

In rural Nigeria, childbirth decisions are not just choices, they are shaped by distance, poverty, limited access to healthcare, and cultural realities.

For many women, home birth is not preference it’s survival.

At Abby Cares Foundation, we know that improving maternal health in Nigeria goes beyond advice. It means:

• Bringing healthcare to underserved communities
• Promoting safe delivery and antenatal care
• Building trust in primary healthcare systems
• Ensuring no woman is left behind

Every mother deserves a safe birth. Every life matters.

If your culture humiliates women, it is not culture.

What happened in Ozoro is unacceptable.

No woman anywhere should be harassed, violated, or made to feel unsafe in the name of tradition or celebration.

Violence against women is not normal.
It is a violation of human rights.

Now is time to act

We need:
✔️ Enforcement of the VAPP Act
✔️ Safe reporting systems for survivors
✔️ Communities that protect, not silence women

At Abby Cares Foundation, we support survivors through medical care, mental health services, and advocacy.

We cannot do this alone

Speak up!
Support our work!
Be part of the change!

Because when you protect a woman…
you protect a generation.
