Today’s service was a strong reminder that trials are not always a sign that God has abandoned you.
We looked at the life of Job and saw a man who went through pain, loss, confusion, and pressure… yet he still held on to God.
We looked at Abraham, who had to trust God through waiting, uncertainty, and difficult instructions, yet he remained faithful and became the father of faith.
We looked at Joseph, who was betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison, yet God was still working out a greater purpose through his life.
We also looked at our Lord Jesus Christ, who faced betrayal, suffering, rejection, and the cross, yet remained faithful to the Father till the end.
One thing stood out clearly today: faith that has never been tested cannot truly be trusted. Sometimes, the trial is not there to destroy you. It is there to strengthen you, mature you, and reveal what is really inside you.
The Word came with comfort, correction, and encouragement. And for many of us, it was a reminder that even in hard seasons, God is still present, still working, and still faithful.
