Engr. Seth Kelechi Ebere: A Lover of God’s Work

Faith, service, and commitment to community were on full display on Sunday 12th July, 2026 as Engr. Seth Kelechi Ebere joined members of the United Evangelical Church, Abala Ibeme, Obingwa LGA, Abia State, for a special fund-raising service aimed at building a new parsonage for the church.

The event, which drew a large gathering of worshippers, leaders, and well-wishers, was organized to raise support for the construction of a befitting home for the church’s pastor. For the congregation, the parsonage represents more than just a building — it is an investment in the growth of ministry and in providing stable ground for God’s work to thrive in Abala Ibeme.

Engr. Ebere, a respected engineer and philanthropist, attended the service to identify with the church and support the vision. Known for his quiet generosity and dedication to community development, he has continued to show that faith and profession can work hand in hand for the good of society.

In recognition of his love for God’s work and his consistent support for the church and community, the United Evangelical Church, Abala Ibeme, honoured Engr. Kelechi Seth Ebere with an Award of Recognition during the service. The award was presented as a mark of appreciation for his contributions and for the example he sets as a believer committed to advancing the kingdom of God through practical service.

Speaking at the event, church leaders described Engr. Ebere as a man who does not only profess faith, but demonstrates it through action. They noted that his presence and support at the fund-raising service would go a long way in encouraging others to give toward the completion of the parsonage project.

In his response, Engr. Ebere expressed gratitude to the church for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the gospel and uplift communities. He encouraged members to continue working together in unity, noting that when God’s people come together, great things are achieved for His glory.

The fund-raising service ended with prayers, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment from members to see the parsonage project completed on time.

For many in Abala Ibeme, Engr. Seth Kelechi Ebere’s participation and recognition that day was a reminder that loving God’s work goes beyond words — it is seen in showing up, giving, and building together.

My leader, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, my leader, the Labour Party State Chairman, Hon. Peter Chigozie Azubuike (The Rock), may I use you to reach all the LP leaders and stakeholders in Agalaba while using my leader and father, Hon. Prof. Joel Ogbonna to equally and respectfully salute all top functionaries and appointees of government in Agalaba and Obingwa at large.

This day, the 30th of May, 2026 is a day so dear and special to me and indeed to every man and woman of conscience and fairplay.

Today, in the history of our dear party, the Labour Party, I have emerged victorious in the keenly contested primary election for Obingwa East State constituency which held at Abala Ibeme Primary School in Obingwa LGA.

I am full of gratitude to God and to all our party leaders, not leaving out our party men and women who came out in their numbers, despite the social scare and attendant challenges it posed to movement. I really appreciate you all.

To all my brothers and sisters, who contested this ticket with me in LP, I salute your courage and I make bold to stretch my hands to you to solicit your support so that we can transmute all our abstract dreams for Agalaba into a concrete reality. As you know, one person must emerge, but rest assured that we are all bearing this flag together for the good of Agalaba.

To all party faithful and my teeming supporters, this is not the time for bickering, segregation and grand standing, it is time for us to close ranks and go to the hinterland and preach the good news of Dr. Alex Otti and the Labour Party to our kit and kin and canvass for their support to enable us curry victory for our party at the forthcoming general elections in 2027.

In doing this, we must be circumspect in our speeches, we must show empathy in our actions and we must be humble and respectful in our approach.

Ndi k'anyi,
Unu emela o!

God bless Agalaba…
God bless Obingwa…
God bless Abia State…
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

During the visit, Engr. Ebere met with patients receiving treatment, offered words of encouragement, and ensured that financial constraints would not delay their care. Eng. Seth Kelechi Ebere: The Agalaba People’s Project for Obingwa-East

Obingwa-East needs more than a title holder at the Abia State House of Assembly. It needs a builder, a problem-solver, and a representative who sees politics as service, not a stepping stone. That is why Eng. Seth Kelechi Ebere, the Labour Party candidate, is the Agalaba People’s Project.

1. An Engineer’s Mind for Practical Problems
Eng. Seth is a trained engineer. Engineers don’t deal in excuses; they deal in solutions.

Our roads are bad, our drainage fails every rainy season, and our markets lack basic infrastructure. A lawyer or career politician might make speeches about it. An engineer will measure, plan, and push for technical standards that make projects last.

In the House of Assembly, oversight and budget scrutiny matter. Eng. Seth knows how to read a Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation. He can ask the right questions when contractors present substandard work and hold ministries accountable for projects in Obingwa-East. That is representation with competence.

2. The Agalaba People’s Project Means Grassroots First
This campaign is not bankrolled by godfathers. It is powered by market women in Agalaba, teachers in Abala-Ibeme, youth in Ndiakata Amairinabuo, and farmers across Obingwa-East who are tired of being forgotten after elections.

The “Agalaba People’s Project” means every decision will be weighed against one question: Does this help the ordinary person in Obingwa-East?
Under Labour Party’s platform, that translates to:
- Pushing for better funding of primary healthcare and public schools
- Supporting SMEs and cooperatives with access to state programs
- Demanding transparency on constituency projects and ensuring they are delivered
- Creating channels for youth skills training and employment opportunities

3. Labour Party Values Fit Our Reality
The Labour Party was built for workers, traders, teachers, and farmers. Obingwa-East is full of those people.

Eng. Seth is running under a party that prioritizes affordable living, job creation, and accountability. He won’t go to Umuahia and go quiet. Labour’s DNA is to speak up, ask tough questions, and defend the people’s interest even when it’s unpopular.

4. Integrity and Accessibility
One reason people lose faith in politics is the distance between the representative and the represented. Eng. Seth’s approach is different. He has built his career outside political patronage, which means he answers to the people, not to a godfather.

The Agalaba People’s Project is about bringing the House of Assembly back to the people. Town halls, open feedback, and regular updates will be the standard, not the exception.

5. A New Standard for Obingwa-East
For too long, we have accepted low standards because “that’s how it’s always been.” But Obingwa-East has bright youth, hardworking traders, and fertile land. What we lack is a representative who can connect our needs to state resources and make sure they are used properly.

Eng. Seth Kelechi Ebere represents that shift from patronage to performance, from promises to projects you can see and touch.

The Choice Before Obingwa-East
You can vote for the usual cycle of recycled promises, or you can back a project owned by the people themselves.

Eng. Seth Kelechi Ebere is not promising miracles. He is promising competence, honesty, and a relentless focus on the needs of Obingwa-East. With an engineer’s precision and a servant’s heart, he is ready to make the House of Assembly work for Agalaba.

This time, vote for the builder.
This time, vote for the Agalaba People’s Project.
Vote Eng. Seth Kelechi Ebere, Labour Party, Obingwa-East.

Agalaba 2027: Seth stands out, not just by name, but by what he brings to the table.

In the race for Obingwa East State Constituency, many may show interest, but when it comes to true capacity, competence, and readiness for representation, Hon. Kelechi Ebere remains a clear choice.

Labour Party made a strong and thoughtful decision with Seth. His profile speaks for itself, a man with the right experience, the right mindset, and the practical understanding of what quality representation should look like.

When leadership is measured by qualification, experience, and tangible results, Seth has shown he is prepared. Beyond politics, his personality sets him apart. His humility, calm attitude, charisma, and approachable nature make him someone the people can easily connect with and trust.

He is competent, credible, and capable, three qualities that matter in real representation. He understands the people, listens to them, and carries a genuine heart for service. That accessibility and willingness to engage are part of what make him different.

For Agalaba, this is about choosing someone who can truly speak for the people and deliver. Looking at the strength of character, leadership values, and commitment to service, Seth remains one of the best options for the future of the constituency.

A new agenda is unfolding in Agalaba, and many believe Seth is the right man to lead that vision forward
