My leader, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, my leader, the Labour Party State Chairman, Hon. Peter Chigozie Azubuike (The Rock), may I use you to reach all the LP leaders and stakeholders in Agalaba while using my leader and father, Hon. Prof. Joel Ogbonna to equally and respectfully salute all top functionaries and appointees of government in Agalaba and Obingwa at large.

This day, the 30th of May, 2026 is a day so dear and special to me and indeed to every man and woman of conscience and fairplay.

Today, in the history of our dear party, the Labour Party, I have emerged victorious in the keenly contested primary election for Obingwa East State constituency which held at Abala Ibeme Primary School in Obingwa LGA.

I am full of gratitude to God and to all our party leaders, not leaving out our party men and women who came out in their numbers, despite the social scare and attendant challenges it posed to movement. I really appreciate you all.

To all my brothers and sisters, who contested this ticket with me in LP, I salute your courage and I make bold to stretch my hands to you to solicit your support so that we can transmute all our abstract dreams for Agalaba into a concrete reality. As you know, one person must emerge, but rest assured that we are all bearing this flag together for the good of Agalaba.

To all party faithful and my teeming supporters, this is not the time for bickering, segregation and grand standing, it is time for us to close ranks and go to the hinterland and preach the good news of Dr. Alex Otti and the Labour Party to our kit and kin and canvass for their support to enable us curry victory for our party at the forthcoming general elections in 2027.

In doing this, we must be circumspect in our speeches, we must show empathy in our actions and we must be humble and respectful in our approach.

Engr. Kelechi Seth Ebere Pays Hospital Bills for Accident Victims at Nigerian Christian Hospital

Engr. Kelechi Seth Ebere paid a visit yesterday to the Nigerian Christian Hospital to check on victims of a recent accident that took place at Alaoji, along Aba- Ikotekpene express road and cleared their medical bills to ease their recovery.

During the visit, Engr. Ebere met with patients receiving treatment, offered words of encouragement, and ensured that financial constraints would not delay their care. Those whose bills were settled include Mr. Emeka, the Keke operator involved in the incident, and Ms. Nmesoma, one of the passengers on board.

Hospital staff and family members present expressed gratitude for the intervention, noting that the gesture came as a relief to the victims and their families who were worried about mounting medical costs.

Speaking briefly, Engr. Ebere said the act was about standing with the people in moments of distress and making sure no one is left stranded because of an accident. He also wished the patients a quick recovery and urged road users to prioritize safety.

The visit and bill clearance have been received as a timely show of support for the victims as they continue treatment.

Obingwa-East needs more than a title holder at the Abia State House of Assembly. It needs a builder, a problem-solver, and a representative who sees politics as service, not a stepping stone. That is why Eng. Seth Kelechi Ebere, the Labour Party candidate, is the Agalaba People’s Project.

Seth is Set to Change the Narratives in Agalaba.

One of the aspirants for Obingwa East State House of Assembly on the platform of the Labour Party, Engr Kelechi Seth Ebere has promised to turn around the fortunes of Obingwa East (Agalaba) for the better, if given the opportunity to represent them come 2027.

Engr Ebere made this promise during a media chat in Umuahia.

Hon. Ebere pointed out that Obingwa East has not done well in recent time due to the inability of those representing her to develop a blue print that will align with the New Abia Vision of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti. He also noted that people tend to suffer the more when there is no rapport and synergy between their representative if my party, the Labour Party gives me the ticket to run on its platform in 2027. I am also sure tve the love and support of my people whose interest and well-being have been the only factor that made me to offer my self to wipe their tears and give them, not just a voice, but one that will speak their mind and attract development to them".

He further expressed happiness that the Labour Party in the state is currently led by a true and worthy son of Agalaba, Hon. Peter Chigozie Azubuike who knows and understands the peculiar challenges facing his people and as such, will make the right choice in giving the ticket to someone who is hungry for the development of Agalaba.

The founder of the Seth Free Foundation, Engr. Kelechi Seth Ebere of the Labour Party, has officially declared his intention for the Obingwa East state House of Assembly in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

On Friday, May 1st, 2027, in his hometown of Abala Ibeme, Obingwa Local Government Area, Abia State, Engr. Seth Ebere addressed party Leaders, members and supporters. He highlighted that his extensive experience as an engineer in Professional Construction and Human Capacity Development, coupled with over twenty years of professional and public service, positions him well to provide effective representation.

In his speech, he stated, "Through the Seth Free Foundation, I have actively engaged in community service, contributing to the human capital development of my constituents and beyond. This journey is not mine alone; it belongs to every diligent resident of Agalaba who aspires for a brighter future.

Aside the core mandate of a state legislator which are Representation, Law-making and Oversight, I will balance the lopesided development in Agalaba by ensuring that real and verifiable empowerment is given to Agalaba sons and daughters in education, human capacity development / skill acquisition and infrastructure.

Also I will entrench visibility in Agalaba causing the presence and meaningful impacts of government to be felt across the length and breadth of Agalaba by leveraging my robust contacts and synergy with the executive.

Finally, I will open a Constituency Office right here in Obingwa East. You will not need to travel to Umuahia to see your lawmaker. Every 4 months, we will hold a Town Hall Meeting where I will give account, and you will ask questions.
Therefore, I earnestly seek the support, prayers, and votes of the leaders, delegates, and the entire Agalaba constituency. Together, we can achieve greatness."

EBERE HAILS LABOUR PARTY OVER SUCCESSFUL CONGRESSES:

The Labour Party aspirant for Obingwa East State House of Assembly, Engr Seth Ebere has extolled the Labour Party for the successful conduct of congresses from the ward level to the national level.
