**BEFORE I KNEW I WAS CHOSEN**

There is something about being called by GOD that I did not understand until much later in my life.

What many people do not understand is that the spiritual realm recognizes what you may not yet know about yourself, long before you do.

Before I knew I was chosen.
Before I knew I was called.
Before I understood anything about prophetic ministry or spiritual warfare…

**I was already experiencing things I could not explain.**

Before I came to CHRIST, I endured an unusual amount of suffering, abuse, rejection, abandonment, turmoil, and what I can only describe as some very “weird” circumstances. Things unexplainable.

There were people who disliked me for no apparent reason. Then there were others who were drawn to me like a magnet. They would tell me things without me asking. They would open up about their deepest pain without me probing.

I would somehow know things about people that they had never disclosed to me.

There were occasions when I talked someone out of su***de. I would come upon an accident or a crisis, or somehow find myself in situations where people needed help—and I was often sought out when a crisis would arise—“go get Sue”.

I didn't understand any of it. I was experiencing to polar opposites at the same time all throughout my life, starting at a very young age.

I only knew that, just as much as I was loved by some, **I was intensely hated by others.**

And because of what I had experienced in my childhood, I interpreted much of it through a wounded identity.

I never felt valued.
I never felt wanted.
I carried rejection and abandonment.

The betrayal began at a very young age, and because of it, trust became extremely difficult for me.

**The wound of not feeling valued was one of the deepest wounds I carried.**

But something began happening around the age of 9 or 10. An increase in the prophetic.

I started having dreams that would later happen. I would know things I could not explain how I knew. I began recognizing patterns that frightened me.

I also began to notice that when someone intentionally did something malicious toward me, there were sometimes serious consequences that followed in their own lives.

Let me make this absolutely clear:

**I was not cursing anyone.
I was not practicing witchcraft.
I was not “putting something” on people.
I did not understand what I was witnessing.** But I very clearly saw it.

Some of my friends would jokingly tell me I was psychic because they could see that I seemed to have a “knowing about things.” When I said things, it always got exposed. Things I said, would come to pass.

And I would always tell them:

**“I am not psychic.”**

But I knew there was something I could not explain.

Over the years, I witnessed circumstances involving people who had intentionally harmed or betrayed me—health crises, financial devastation, profound losses, and in some cases, even death. Some of them even permanently marked with life long deficit.

I will not go into the details here.

However, Those things did not make me happy.

**They terrified me.**

I remember feeling broken when terrible things happened to people. Somehow, I knew there was a connection to what had happened between us, but I didn't understand it.

I even wondered if somehow **I was cursed.**

I didn't yet understand that there was a spiritual dimension to my life that I had not been taught to recognize.

I struggled for years, trying to reconcile the two polar dimensions that I was living in. The darkness that was assigned to influence and take me out, yet also knowing I had this deep knowing to stand against it. I learned the hard way that I didn’t belong in darkness. I was set apart for GOD.

There were battles I now understand as spiritual warfare—battles against things that wanted to destroy me, distort my identity, keep me bound in fear, and prevent me from ever discovering who I really was.

Then I surrendered my life to CHRIST.

And that is when things drastically began to change.

**THE LORD began revealing my identity to me.**

The very place where I had been most wounded—my value—became one of the very places where HE began to reveal the truth of who I am to HIM..

HE began showing me:

**“You were MINE before you knew you were MINE.”**
HE revealed to me the truth that the things that happened to those who were malicious towards me—that was HIS doing, because HE is HOLY and HIS WORD is truth. Touch not my Anointed and do my Prophet no harm.
I then understood that even before I knew who I was, GOD KNEW ME. It made me to fear GOD and to pray for those who hurt me.

I began to understand that there was a distinction between who I thought I was because of what people had done to me and who GOD had created me to be.

I began to understand that some of the things I experienced before I knew CHRIST were not evidence that something was wrong with me.

Some of them were evidence that there was something about my life that I had not yet understood and the enemy tried to destroy me. It is only by the grace of GOD, I have survived some things. ONLY GOD

And I began learning that what the enemy wants most is to distort your identity.

Because if he can convince you that you are worthless, unwanted, crazy, cursed, insignificant, or disqualified…

**he can keep you from discovering who GOD says you are.**

The enemy does not want you to know your identity.

Because identity gives you position.

And position gives you AUTHORITY.

There are people who will oppose what they do not understand. There are people who will allow themselves to be used against someone without realizing the spiritual consequences of their actions.

But I don't celebrate when people suffer.

**I pray for them.**

Because I know what it is like to be deceived.

I know what it is like to be wounded.

I know what it is like to operate without understanding what is really happening spiritually.

And I would much rather see someone repent, be restored, and come out of darkness than see them destroyed.

I have learned that vengeance belongs to GOD, and I have seen it play out time and time again.

My responsibility is not to curse my enemies.

My responsibility is to **walk with GOD, remain obedient, keep my heart clean, and let HIM contend with what concerns me.**

There are things I experienced as a child that I could not explain.

There are things I witnessed that frightened me.

There are things I didn't understand until I encountered CHRIST.

And now I can look back and say:

**I wasn't crazy.
I wasn't cursed.
I wasn't imagining everything.
I simply did not yet understand who I was.**

Before I knew I was chosen…

**GOD already knew.**

Before I knew I was called…

**HE already knew.**

Before I understood my identity…

**HE already knew whose I was.**

And perhaps that is one of the greatest revelations of my life:

**I was HIS before I ever knew I belonged to HIM.**

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart…”

Spiritual Warfare: Influence That Produces Agreement

The enemy does not always begin with an obvious attack. Often, the strategy begins with influence.

Influence is an invitation to think, believe, desire, speak, or act in a particular direction. When that influence is repeatedly entertained, it can produce agreement. Agreement then gives the enemy a greater opportunity to operate through a person, relationship, family, community, or larger sphere of influence.

Paul warns:

“Neither give place to the devil.” — Ephesians 4:27

The word place is significant. The idea is not merely that Satan exists somewhere around us, but that a person can give him ground, opportunity, or room to operate.
So the progression can look like this:

Influence → Attention → Agreement → Access → Foothold → Stronghold → Manifestation

The enemy wants to move from merely suggesting something to having something established.

1. Influence Comes First
A spirit seeks to influence before it seeks to dominate.
We see this pattern in Genesis 3. The serpent did not begin by physically forcing Eve to disobey GOD. He began by introducing a voice contrary to God's Word.

“Did GOD really say…?”
The first battle was therefore not over Eve's behavior.
It was over what voice she would believe.

The enemy introduced a competing interpretation of GOD’S Word, and Eve began entertaining it.

That is why what a person continually hears, watches, entertains, meditates upon, and agrees with matters spiritually.

2. Influence Seeks Agreement
Influence becomes powerful when it receives agreement.
Agreement is essentially saying:

“I accept this as true.”

Or:

“I will align myself with this.”

Once agreement occurs, behavior generally follows belief.

James describes the progression:

“Each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin…” — James 1:14–15
Notice the language: conceived → gives birth.
Something was introduced, entertained, conceived internally, and eventually manifested externally.

This is why spiritual warfare involves guarding the inner man.

3. Agreement Creates Access
This is where your concept becomes particularly important.
The enemy looks for access points.

Paul says:
“Do not give the devil a foothold.” — Ephesians 4:27

A foothold is strategic language. A foothold gives someone a place from which they can gain further ground.
And notice that Paul places this warning in the context of things such as anger, falsehood, corrupt communication, bitterness, unforgiveness, and relational disorder.

In other words, spiritual warfare is not merely about dramatic manifestations.

Sometimes the enemy's greatest access point is something that appears ordinary. 👉🏻PAY ATTENTION

A lie.

A wound.

Bitterness.

Unforgiveness.

Pride.

Greed.

Sexual immorality.

Fear.

Deception.

Persistent disobedience.

False teaching.

Repeated compromise.

4. Position Makes Influence More Powerful

The enemy does not merely seek people; he 👿 seeks influence through people who occupy positions.

Position increases reach.

A person with no authority may influence a handful of people.

But put that same person in the position of:

parent,
spouse,
pastor,
teacher,
employer,
government official,
community leader,
celebrity,
mentor,
or spiritual authority,
and their influence can multiply dramatically.
This does not mean that everyone occupying such a position is being controlled by an evil spirit. Rather, position creates a sphere through which influence can travel.

We see this principle dramatically in Scripture.

JESUS said to Peter:

“Get behind me, Satan!”
He was addressing the source behind the influence, while speaking directly to Peter.
Peter had a legitimate relationship and legitimate position as a disciple, yet he was temporarily voicing something contrary to GOD’S purposes.

That is a sobering lesson: a Scary one that should humble us 👇🏼

A legitimate position does not automatically mean every influence operating through that position is legitimate.

5. The Greater the Agreement, the Greater the Foothold

This is where discernment becomes critical.
One compromised thought does not necessarily constitute a stronghold.

But when a person repeatedly:

hears it → entertains it → believes it → speaks it → acts upon it → defends it → teaches it → reproduces it
the influence becomes increasingly established.

Eventually, the person may no longer recognize the influence as foreign.

They begin calling darkness light.

They begin defending what is destroying them.

They begin attacking anyone who challenges the influence.

And this is where strongholds become especially relevant.

Paul says:
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4
Then he explains what those strongholds involve:
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of GOD…” — 2 Corinthians 10:5
That is fascinating.
A stronghold is associated with arguments, thoughts, pretensions, and things exalted against the knowledge of GOD. (HIS TRUTH)

So spiritual warfare involves bringing the mind back under the authority of truth.

*From One Person to a Family*

One person becomes influenced.

That influence produces agreement.

Agreement produces behavior.

Behavior establishes patterns.

Patterns affect relationships.

Relationships establish family culture.

And eventually what began with one person can become normalized throughout the household.

For example:

One person's bitterness → repeated hostile speech → relational division → children absorb the pattern → bitterness becomes normalized → the next generation reproduces it.

The spiritual battle has now moved beyond an individual.

It has become generationally reinforced behavior.

That doesn't mean children are automatically spiritually bound because of something their parents did. Scripture also emphasizes individual responsibility.

BUT👉🏻 children absolutely can inherit patterns, beliefs, wounds, behaviors, and environments that reinforce ungodly influence.

*From Family to Community*

The same principle can operate on a larger scale.
Individual influence → family agreement → social normalization → community culture.

Once something becomes culturally accepted, it no longer requires the same amount of persuasion.

People simply assume:

“That's just how things are.”

That is powerful.
Because what was once considered abnormal can become normal.

What was once condemned can become celebrated.

What was once resisted can become institutionalized.

And what was once whispered can eventually become policy.

This is why the spiritual battle over truth matters.

*From Community to City, State, and Nation*
Scripture actually gives us examples of spiritual realities associated with territories and nations.

In Daniel 10, Daniel's prayer encounters resistance associated with the “prince of the kingdom of Persia.”

The passage describes a spiritual conflict connected with a geopolitical territory.

Book of Daniel 10 therefore gives us a biblical basis for recognizing that spiritual warfare can have dimensions that extend beyond an individual person.

But there is an important distinction:

We should not automatically label every political problem, geographical location, or difficult person as being controlled by a particular demon.

Discernment must remain anchored in Scripture rather than speculation.

The Enemy's Strategy: Establish Agreement Through Influence

The enemy seeks influence because influence can produce agreement; agreement provides access; access creates foothold; foothold develops into stronghold; and strongholds eventually produce manifestations in behavior, relationships, families, communities, and societies.
And there is another important piece:
🙌🏻 Position amplifies influence.🙌🏻
The enemy understands that if he 👿can influence someone who possesses authority, credibility, relational access, or leadership, that influence can reach many more people.

That's why we must be careful about who we allow to disciple our thinking.

Because everyone who has access to your ears eventually has an opportunity to influence your thoughts.

And everyone who influences your thoughts is potentially influencing your agreement.

But Here's the Victory
The good news is that the process works in reverse too.

•Truth confronts influence.

•Truth breaks agreement.

•Repentance closes access.

•Forgiveness removes relational ground.

•Obedience establishes righteousness.

•Renewing the mind demolishes false reasoning.

•Truth establishes a new stronghold—the stronghold of GOD’S Word.

Paul says:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

And James gives us the proper posture:
“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7
Notice the order:
Submit to God → resist the devil.

Spiritual warfare isn't primarily about chasing demons.

It begins with alignment with GOD.

The question becomes:

“Who has my agreement?”

Because what has your agreement has influence over your decisions.

And what repeatedly influences your decisions can eventually shape your life.

Spiritual warfare is fundamentally a battle over allegiance, truth, influence, and agreement before it ever becomes a battle over manifestation.

According to biblical standards, the spiritual and physical condition of a nation is directly tied to its alignment with or rebellion against GOD.

Although “Third World country" is a socio-economic classification, I want to correlate the spiritual facts from a Biblical context and point out the direct correlation between these countries and their relative spiritual history.

Anytime you see systemic poverty, corruption, and instability— a deeper look will always reveal spiritual defilement, generational curses, and territorial strongholds.

Scripture lays out a clear blueprint for how engaging with dark powers and rebelling against GOD legally triggers consequences that degrade an entire society.

1. The Legal Ground of Spiritual Defilement
In the Bible, the physical land is not neutral; it reacts to the spiritual actions of its inhabitants. When a culture or its leaders practice idolatry, witchcraft, or deep moral corruption, they create a "legal foothold" for demonic oppression.

The Land Vomits the Inhabitants: In Leviticus 18:24–25, GOD warns that occult practices and gross immorality defile the very ground underfoot: “Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways... Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

Shedding of Innocent Blood: Ritual killings, human sacrifices (common in historical dark arts), and systemic injustice cause the land to mourn and experience physical scarcity (Numbers 35:33, Hosea 4:1–3).

2. The Anatomy of Corporate Curses (Deuteronomy 28)

Deuteronomy 28 lists the exact geopolitical, agricultural, and economic consequences that come upon a nation that chooses rebellion over GOD’S commands. Many of these directly mirror the struggles seen in developing nations today

Economic Subjugation ("The Tail, Not the Head"): Scripture warns that a cursed nation will borrow from others but never lend. Foreigners living among them will rise higher and higher, while the native citizens sink lower ( Deuteronomy28:43-44).

Agricultural Failure and Famine: Turning to false gods triggers environmental decay, drought, and pestilence, causing the "basket and kneading trough" to be cursed (Deuteronomy 28:17-18).

Confusion and Political Instability: “The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to...” (Deuteronomy 28:20). This often manifests as leadership failure, chronic corruption, and civil unrest. But can also be on individual persons also. They will struggle with anything they put their hand to.

3. Territorial Spirits and SyncretismIn many Third World countries, a major spiritual hurdle is syncretism—the dangerous mixing of Christian worship with traditional occult practices, witchcraft, or ancestor worship.

The Trap of Double-Mindedness: The Bible notes that GOD will not share His glory with idols. When a society tries to serve GOD on Sunday but consults local witch doctors or uses occult protective charms during the week, it triggers the curse of spiritual betrayal.

Territorial Strongholds: Paul writes in Ephesians 6:12 that believers wrestle against "rulers of the darkness of this world" and "spiritual wickedness in high places." When communities corporately bow to territorial spirits through generations of dark rituals, those dark principalities claim a spiritual right to influence the mindsets, poverty levels, and governance of that region.

We must understand the Spiritual compromise and how it impacts a region, this helps clarify the biblical weight carried by generations that walk outside GOD’S laws:

The Biblical Prescription for National Healing:

The Bible makes it clear that socio-economic aid, political restructuring, and financial loans alone cannot fully heal a nation suffering from foundational spiritual defilement. The remedy must match the root cause..

Corporate Repentance: Believers within the nation must step into the gap to confess and renounce ancestral occult practices, idolatry, and bloodguilt.

Breaking Agreements: Just as the early Church in Ephesus publicly burned their magic scrolls (Acts 19:19), a nation must intentionally dismantle its cultural altars to dark powers.

DIVINE MIRACLES vS FORBIDDEN MAGIC

In BIBLICAL thought, the core difference between a divine miracle and forbidden magic lies in the source of authority, the intent of the practitioner, and who receives the glory.
While both involve supernatural occurrences that defy natural laws, the Bible frames them as opposing forces at war with each other.

THERE ARE MANY WHO HAVE TAPPED INTO THE DEMONIC USING ITS POWER FOR THEIR PURPOSES.

Key Differences Explained:

1. Submission vs. Manipulation Miracles happen when a person submits to GOD’S will. Figures like Moses, Elijah, or the Apostles prayed and acted under direct divine command. They did not "own" the power; GOD chose when and how to act. Magic relies on formulas, incantations, and secret rituals designed to bend spiritual forces to the human will. It treats supernatural power like a tool to be mastered rather than a holy Creator to be worshiped.

2. The Battle of Signs:
Moses vs. Pharaoh’s Magicians

The classic showdown in Exodus 7–8 perfectly illustrates this divide. Pharaoh's sorcerers used "secret arts" to turn staffs into snakes and water into blood, matching Moses' initial signs. However, the magicians were performing a calculated ritual to mimic power. Moses was acting on direct orders from Yahweh. The limit of magic became clear during the plague of gnats. The magicians failed to replicate it, declaring, "This is the finger of God" (Exodus 8:19).
3. The New Testament Conflict: Peter vs. Simon

The SorcererIn Acts 8:9–24, a famous magician named Simon amazed the people of Samaria with his magic, and people called him "the Great Power of God."When Simon saw the Apostle Peter laying hands on people to impart the Holy Spirit, miracles occurred that Simon couldn't replicate.Simon treated this divine miracle like magic—he offered Peter money to buy the "secret" or the ability to do it. Peter fiercely rebuked him, stating that GOD’S gift cannot be bought and that Simon’s heart was full of bitterness and sin because he wanted to exploit GOD’S power for personal status.

08/27/2026

Prophets are often used by GOD to bring hidden things into the light, confront deception, warn of consequences, and call people back to truth and righteousness. Their purpose isn't simply to “expose people”—it is to expose what is CONTRARY TO GOD so that truth can prevail. Really, it is to protect them from the danger they have gotten themselves into.

1. GOD uses Prophets to expose hidden sin.
Nathan confronted David after David tried to hide his sin concerning Bathsheba.
“You are the man!” — 2 Samuel 12:7
Nathan didn't come merely to shame David. GOD used him to bring what was hidden into the light so David could repent.

2. Prophets expose deception
Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal and exposed the deception that had led Israel away from GOD.
The prophetic voice asks:
“Who GOD really is? What is really true? What have we been deceived into believing?”

3. Prophets expose corrupt leadership
Throughout Scripture, prophets confronted kings, priests, and leaders when they abused their authority.
John the Baptist is a powerful example. He confronted Herod over his unlawful relationship and paid a tremendous price for speaking truth.
A prophetic voice does not become silent simply because the person being confronted has position, influence, money, or power. Your status is of no bearing to the Prophet.

4. Prophets expose what people try to conceal —JESUS said:
“For there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.” — Luke 12:2

Sometimes GOD allows aProphet to see what others cannot see—not because the Prophet is superior, but because GOD wants something brought into the light.

5. Exposure is almost always connected to warning.
Biblical Prophets didn't just say, “Look what they're doing.”
They also said:
“Turn from it before the consequences come.” This is still true today.. Prophets are raised up for assignments.
That's important to understand.

True prophetic exposure should ultimately point people toward repentance, righteousness, restoration, and accountability—not simply destruction.

6. Falsehood eventually collides with truth.
This is where my teaching and the connection between integrity and dishonesty becomes powerful.
A person may hide financial dishonesty. Examples:
They may lie about their hours at work, or other expenses for gain.
They may cheat an employer.
They may deceive their spouse.
They may manipulate people while maintaining an outward appearance of righteousness to others,
But hidden behavior doesn't remain hidden forever.
GOD can use circumstances, witnesses, evidence, other people, or a prophetic voice to bring something into the light. They will always challenge the deception.
And sometimes the prophetic person isn't even looking for something to expose. GOD reveals it because HE is addressing it. Sometimes the Prophet doesn’t even realize they are being used in the midst of it. Their footsteps are ordered, and I have learned nothing is a coincidence. So when something begins to manifest, that is when you can discern that light is shining into the darkness.
There is a profound principle here:
The Prophet doesn't create the darkness. The prophet REVEALS where the darkness already exists.
And that means prophetic exposure should never be confused with character assassination, gossip, revenge, or personal accusation. A person can falsely accuse someone but biblical authority is always accountable to GOD’S truth and character.
The prophet says, in essence:
“This is what GOD is revealing. This is what is contrary to truth. This is the consequence if it continues. And this is the way back.”
REPENT, RENOUNCE and get right with GOD or deal with the consequences that are coming.

GOD will never bring judgement without a warning.

Integrity: Who Are You When Nobody Is Watching?

Integrity is about the alignment between who you say you are, what you believe, and how you actually conduct yourself—especially when nobody is watching AND you are deceived enough to believe you can get a way with it.

The alignment of dishonesty and integrity together—doesn't merely produce a bad outcome; it damages the character of the person practicing it. What may begin as “just a little lie” can eventually affect trust, relationships, finances, reputation, employment, and even your spiritual life.

The definition of integrity

**Integrity** is *the quality of being honest, truthful, morally upright, and consistent in your character and conduct.*

Another way to say it:

**Integrity is doing what is right even when doing wrong would be easier, more profitable, or less likely to be discovered.**

Because anybody can *appear* honest when they know they're being watched. **Integrity is revealed when you believe you can get away with it.** 👉🏻when nobody can see you.

How dishonesty affects integrity

Dishonesty and integrity cannot comfortably coexist.

If someone lies about their hours at work, they're not simply falsifying a timesheet. They're taking money they did not earn.

If someone cheats a company financially, they're not simply “getting ahead.” They're violating the trust that was placed in them.

If someone lies to their spouse about money, where they've been, what they've done, or who they've been communicating with, they're not merely withholding information. They're undermining the foundation of the relationship.

It can bring about consequences—possibly more than you bargained for.

A person may think:

*"It's only $50."*
*"It's only a few hours."*
*"Nobody will know."*
*"It's just one lie."*
*"I'm not really hurting anybody."*

But the consequence isn't always limited to the original act.

**The lie can become a habit.
The habit can become a pattern.
The pattern can become character.
And character eventually affects destiny.**

And sometimes the consequence is not that you immediately get caught. Sometimes the greater consequence is that **you become the kind of person who is willing to compromise what is right for what is convenient.**

That's a sobering thought.

A biblical foundation

There are several Scriptures that we can apply

**Proverbs 10:9 (NIV):**
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
👉🏻👉🏻YOU WILL BE EXPOSED🙌🏻

That Scripture connects **integrity, security, and consequences**.

Also:

**Luke 16:10 (NIV):**
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”

Someone may say, *“It's only a small amount.”* “who cares” .

But JESUS says the issue isn't really the amount.

**The issue is what the small thing reveals about the person.**

And Galatians 6:7 gives the consequence principle:

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

THIS can be more than you bargained for.

You may sow a lie expecting a small consequence.

But you don't control the harvest.

**You control the seed.
You do not control the harvest.**

If you sow dishonesty, you shouldn't be surprised when you eventually reap broken trust, damaged relationships, lost opportunities, financial consequences, disciplinary action, or a damaged reputation. And trust me, the consequences may take awhile to hit, but when you have planted the seed, the wait in the consequences means a bigger consequence is coming down the pike, you just don’t know it yet.

And spiritually, there is an even deeper issue:

**GOD isn't merely concerned with what happened. HE’S concerned with who we're becoming.**

Who are you when you think nobody will find out?
