REPORT ON OUR VISIT TO EZEUKWU PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN BENDE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA ABIA STATE.
The Dr. Vince Foundation team recently embarked on a visitation to Ezeukwu Community, where we visited community school, Central School and Methodist School. The purpose of our visit was to interact with the pupils and teachers, understand some of the challenges facing the schools, and provide educational support to the children.
During our visit, we distributed educational materials to the pupils, including pens, pencils, books, and school bags. The children were extremely excited and grateful to receive these items. Their joy and smiles were evident throughout the distribution, making the experience a memorable one for our team.
The teachers were also delighted by our visit and expressed their appreciation for the support given to the pupils. They welcomed the Foundation warmly and shared some of the difficulties they encounter in providing effective education to the children.
However, our visit also enabled us to observe some of the challenges affecting teaching and learning in the schools. One of the major concerns is the inadequacy of learning facilities and educational materials. The schools require additional classrooms, desks, books, teaching aids, and other essential facilities to provide a more conducive environment for learning.
Another major challenge is the shortage of teachers. The number of teachers available is not sufficient to adequately cater to the pupils. This shortage has contributed to delays in the learning process and has made it difficult for the available teachers to give adequate attention to all the pupils.

In view of the challenges observed during our visit, the Dr. Vince Foundation respectfully calls on the State Government, State Ministry of Education, relevant educational agencies, local government authorities, community leaders, private organisations, and other educational development partners to come to aid ⛑️.
