*✨ WALK WITH US, SERVE WITH US ✨*
A Membership Drive Initiative

On 22nd August 2026, we took Rotaract beyond the meeting room and showcased Rotary to the streets through our *Walk With Us, Serve With Us* Membership Drive and Awareness Walk. 💙🌍

The initiative brought together the Rotaract Clubs of Aba, Aba Metropolitan, Umungasi Aba, ABSOMAT and GUU, in partnership with Kaytech Green Ltd, to create awareness about Rotaract and inspire more young people to embrace service, leadership, fellowship, and personal development.

From the “Walk With Us serve with us ” road walk to our live radio engagement on Enyimba FM, we connected with the community, shared the impact of Rotary and Rotaract, and highlighted the opportunities available to young people through the movement.

With an estimated 4,000 beneficiaries, this project reminded us that Rotaract is more than a badge or a title. It is about showing up, serving, leading, connecting, and creating impact. 🤝💙

This Saturday, 22nd August 2026, Rotaract Clubs across Aba are coming together for a Membership Drive & Awareness Walk in partnership with Kaytech Green Technology.

We’re hitting the streets to create awareness about Rotaract and, more importantly, to invite young people who are ready to be part of something bigger. 🌍

Whether you’re passionate about community service, leadership, personal development, networking, or simply meeting amazing people, there’s a place for you here.

ROTARY CLUB OF ENYIMBA CITY HOLDS MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

The Rotary Club of Enyimba City, in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Aba, successfully held a Membership Seminar focused on the theme:

“Membership Growth, Engagement, Retention & Public Image.”

The programme brought together Rotarians, Rotaractors, friends and invited guests for an engaging session aimed at strengthening membership, improving member engagement and retention, and promoting a positive image of Rotary within our communities.

Rtn. Chidi Ubani, Club Membership Chair and President-Elect, led the session on Membership Growth, Engagement and Retention, highlighting the importance of attracting quality members, involving new members meaningfully in club activities and creating an environment where members feel valued and committed to service.

Rtn. Ikechukwu Nwagbo, Club Public Image Chair, spoke on Public Image, emphasizing that every Rotarian represents Rotary. He encouraged members to ensure that their conduct, service and interactions consistently reflect Rotary’s values and strengthen public confidence in the organisation.

The presentations were followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing participants to exchange ideas and discuss practical approaches to building stronger and more vibrant clubs.

A major highlight of the event was the induction of two new Rotarians — Hon. Jackson Ude and Bldr. Uchechukwu — further strengthening the Rotary Club of Enyimba City and the Rotary family.

The President of the Rotaract Club of Aba also expressed her appreciation for the collaboration and the opportunity for Rotarians and Rotaractors to learn, interact and strengthen their relationship.

The seminar concluded with fellowship and group photographs, marking another important step in our commitment to grow our membership, engage and retain our members, strengthen our public image, and Create Lasting Impact.

Congratulations to our newly inducted Rotarians, and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the programme.

On Sun 16th of August Rotaract club of Aba, held their PLUS ONE FELLOWSHIP which means each member brings one friend, it was an absolute fun and interesting fellowship where all Rotaractor’s and guests were welcomed, encouraged to strengthen friendships and continue to make impact in our community.
