I feel privileged to serve the most vulnerable refugee community in Osire settlement refugee camp. mostly women who are exposed to many dangers and exploitation of many kinds, and second, children who are left unaccompanied and those of orphans and those of girl children here in Osire settlement refugee camp.

Our Organisation Compassion in Action Refugee Team Osire, CARTO in Short name. is the human rights advocacy and activism and also a humanitarianism.

here, we serve with passion and compassion .

The love to serving children by promoting the child Care and Protection Act even in the refugee camps all over the world, not only here in Osire Refugee Settlement Camp.

Also, the protection of women's rights is also vital in the refugee camps , where women refugees are taken advances by being sexually abused, and no help is provided.

The creation of CARTO came with a lot of sacrifices that after many years of enduring sufferings, discrimination, and abuses of many kinds here in the Osire settlement refugee camp. I withenessed and faced lots of abuses that are being perpetuated against us women and girls with the knowledge of the local government officials and unhcr field workers officials. Rapes , Teenage Pregnacies , Frauds , Corruption , Briberies , Sexual advantageous in exchange with social services.

As a woman , a mother ! I came to a conclusion of creating this organisation that will have to operate here in the camp and its surroundings in order to address these Ill behaviors and curb it from continuing .

There is also a very huge negligence when it comes to refugee women empowerment. We are being seen as if we do not matter at all .

There is no commitment nor good faith to support refugee empowerment , be it from the receiving country or government, nor from the UNHCR official here .

Our objectives are : to advocate against human rights abuses
- women empowerment,
- stop GBVs that already gained space here in the camp
- stop early child or teenage pregnancy
- Support the education of a
girl child .
Support many refugee children left behind by their parents , especially those of whom lose their both of their parents here in the camp .

A call to all generous individuals , local and international organisations, Faith based Organisations , and UN agencies to join us hands of support that will help us carry out our mission and objective as stated above .

AS A WOMAN FOUNDING DIRECTOR OF CARTO, ORIGINATED FROM REFUGEE LIFE, I TAKE PRIDE TO INFORM EVERYONE OUT THERE THAT DESPITE CHALLENGES , GOD STILL HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY IN OUR LIFE WHEN WE STILL HAVE BREATH OF LIFE !

I SPENT MANY YEARS IN THE OSIRE CAMP IN NAMIBIA , I WITNESSED LOT OF ABUSES OF MANY KIND, THAT ARE PERPETUATED AGAINST WOMEN.

THIS IS A NOBLE CALL TO ALL COUNTRIES , UNHCR, AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL NGOs TO BE AWARE OF THE HIGH LEVEL OF CRIMES THAT LEFT UNATTENDED BY AUTHORITIES AND OTHER GROUPS OF REFUGEES WHO OPTED TO FORM CRIMINAL SYNDICATE.

IN THE CAMP, WOMEN AND GIRLS ARE BEING SEXUALLY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF , EITHER BY LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN THE CAMP, CRIMINAL SYNDICATES FORMED BY REFUGEES!

OUR NGO, COMPASSION IN ACTION REFUGEE TEAM OSIRE , COMONLY KNOWN AS CARTO , HAS ASSIGNSTAND AGAINST ABUSES PERPETUATED AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS IN THE CAMP. IT'S A REALITY LIVED IN MOST REFUGEE CAMPS , ESPECIALLY IN AFRICA.

SO HELP ME TO JOIN HANDS FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST THIS EVIL CHARACTORS THAT STEAL JOY AND HOPE OF WOMEN AND GIRLS REFUGEES .
