NAMIBIA RETHINK WASTE GREENCYCLE EXPO SPONSORS ONGULA LODGE DELEGATION ON EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO WALVIS BAY
The Ongula Village Homestead Lodge delegation, sponsored by the Namibia Rethink Waste GreenCycle Expo, embarked on an educational and tourism tour to explore some of Namibia’s remarkable natural attractions, including Walvis Bay Lagoon, the Walvis Bay salt production area, and the spectacular sand dunes of the Namib Desert. The tour provided an opportunity for the delegation to appreciate Namibia’s natural beauty, tourism potential, and environmental resources while gaining valuable insights into the country’s unique landscapes and economic activities.
At Walvis Bay Lagoon, the delegation experienced the beauty of the coastal environment and its significance to tourism and marine biodiversity. The visit to the Walvis Bay salt production area offered an opportunity to learn more about salt production and its contribution to economic activities, while the breathtaking sand dunes of the Namib Desert highlighted Namibia’s extraordinary natural heritage. These experiences further demonstrated the importance of promoting sustainable tourism, environmental conservation, and responsible use of natural resources for future generations.
