ina Kamure and started in 1994. The Soup Kitchen was birthed from the Kindergarten, majority of the children comes to school with no bread or snack, so we ended up using our household food to feed the children whose parents could not afford to send the children with bread and later it expanded to feeding the elderly, orphans etc any one that needed a meal. So we feed 2 to 3 times in a week 20 to 40 kids and round about 15 to 20 elderly people. Our vision is to expand to feeding 100 -200 children children and elderly too. We basically operate from the income of two family members Ms Alicia and Mr Angello Glazer whom are the children of the founding father of the charity/kindergarten to help support the less fortunate members of our community. Recently we started reaching out to Organization for assistance to feed the needy and we received. This includes helping the elderly, unemployed, poor and homeless-woman, men and children, in Okahandja Park, Khomas Region, and Windhoek.
