📢The World Autism Organisation invites you, autistic individuals, neurodivergent people, family members, professionals, service providers, and those with communication challenges, to help reshape how the world understands autism.

We’re looking for presentation & poster abstracts that challenge stereotypes, elevate diverse voices, and drive real change.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

Diagnosis
Genetic and environmental factors
Psychology and sensory issues
Biochemistry and metabolism
Education and teaching
Health and co-morbidities
Services and support for all ages and abilities
Personal accounts

The World Autism Congress 2026 is gearing up for an extraordinary gathering from 3–5 November 2026, hosted in Namibia in a hybrid format so anyone, anywhere can join.

Our theme: "Transform the Narrative"

Across the world, and especially in communities where resources are scarce, autism is still too often misunderstood. This Congress is a chance to change that. To connect Africa with the global autism community, share knowledge across borders, and replace stigma with genuine understanding and inclusion.

We're honoured to work under the guidance of the Autism Association of Namibia and to have the endorsement of H.E. Vice President Lucia Witbooi and the University of Namibia. 🇳🇦
