Walvis Bay S.P.C.A. SPCA Walvis Bay is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping homeless animals in need.

On average we look after 150 cats and dogs and try to find forever loving homes for them.

We would like to take a moment to thank all of the amazing people and companies again who donated food and blankets to our animals.

Although we talk about puppy and kitten season, the season of unwanted and abandoned animals never truly stop 😥 Times are tough and even good homes fall into hardship where they can no longer afford to care for their animals and lately many rentals don't allow pets as well.

So, thank you for answering our pleas for assistance. It is truly appreciated and lessens the load on the shelter. This is not an easy path to choose, the one of rescuing and working with traumatized animals, it has an immense emotional load on the staff and everyone involved but knowing that we have a crowd to back us up gives up hope and courage to continue.

Trivia night loading! Save the date, 4th of July at Godenfang - 18:00 🙌 In aid of the theme for the trivia is “Animals from the Silver Screen” that covers all famous animals from film and television. Entry is a N$100 per person donation to the SPCA. This includes one lucky draw entry! We have some incredible prizes for the event, including accommodation vouchers from and You have to be there to win! Don’t miss out! Let’s do it for the animals in need! Space is limited- Book now!
