MOVE4DIGNITY 2025 RECAP

PARTICIPANTS Walk/Run 5km /10km
Participants were ready at 7:30am, off they went filled with confidence. The joy, laughter, and vibe was amazing to see, watching them go, sporting their race packs filled with goodies including sponsored Minaqua prepared Water,
buffs draped in ways we never imagined
possible πŸ˜…
FINALLY on return each participant received a medal as being our TRUE Heroes and Sheroes of the day.

BRG RUNNING CLUB
Water point. Making sure all the participants quenched their thirst and dry throats on return.
Water and Oranges was an absolute necessity.

YOGA Walvisbay Toyayoga instructor Toya Louw.
yoga mats were laid down and everyone took their places. Participants eagerly sat in a calming atmosphere with only the soft voice heard by Toya. Sitting up straight, hands together, arms up, arms down, moving effortlessy following her voice and movements. For a whie It was quiet 🀫
U N T I L ....the stretches became more intense πŸ˜… more difficult for most πŸ˜… the aching sounds was heard, breathing heavier. On all 4's, lifting one leg stretching out to the back and HOLD πŸ˜…
Surely some wanted to leave the session
already πŸ˜‚ rising ever so slowly you made it.
"You Found Your Inner Peace"

SELF DEFENCE Lesley's Fitness Studio
Instructors Lesley and Nadrin Bezuidenhout.
Participants gathered around a well and informative demonstation. Lesley was slammed to the ground so many timesπŸ˜… as different forms of defence was demonstrated. The ladies were in awe watching how they can in future defend themself if attacked. Some took the stand as if attacked, using their new found defence meganism also scolding while doing so πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Please don't try this at home πŸ˜…
"Stay Safe, Stay Sassy"

ZUMBA instructors Sonia Martins and Valentinia.
Waiting in anticipation 95% joined, ranging between ages 4 and 77 years young 🀭 It was a vibe πŸ’ƒ Zumba was crazy πŸ˜‚ Sonia and Valentinia went all out moving continously with only a few seconds rest before the next song. Participants loved it. They Zumba-d following the dance moves as instructed. It was so fast though πŸ˜… How do they even continue zumba-ing in full swing still breathing normal 😭
song 3, 60% still participating, song 4, 30%.
They were tired...DONE πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
the children still had way to much energy
and zumba-d along to the end πŸ˜…
"Shake it until you Make it"
