Rundu Town Council Commercial (Pty) Ltd Officially Inaugurated
The establishment of Rundu Town Council Commercial (Pty) Ltd marks a significant milestone in the Council’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its commercial operations, diversify revenue streams, and unlock new opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
The commercial entity is envisioned as a platform through which the Rundu Town Council can pursue strategic business opportunities, develop commercially viable initiatives, and enhance the value derived from municipal assets and services. It also has the potential to stimulate local investment, support entrepreneurship, and contribute to job creation within the town.
The inauguration, officiated on behalf of the Right Honourable Prime Minister, Dr Elijah Ngurare, by Mr Petrus Sindimba, Executive Director of the Cabinet Secretariat and Acting Executive Director in the Prime Minister’s Bureau, signals the importance of strategic partnerships and innovative approaches to local economic development.
As Rundu continues to grow, the establishment of the commercial entity reflects the Council’s commitment to building a more financially sustainable institution while creating an enabling environment for investment and inclusive economic participation.
