We love seeing our youth getting involved.

The Leo Group kids have been getting more involved with TASK, learning about giving back and being part of something that supports their wider community.

Every week, small contributions add up to something much bigger.

We are incredibly grateful to Gondwana Care Trust for their monthly bread contribution to TASK, and to OK Portuguese Market for making bread available to us at a special rate.

These ongoing contributions help us keep providing meals to the children we serve.

A household can have some food available and still struggle to provide enough nutritious and varied food for their children.

For families already working with limited resources, the rising cost of everyday essentials can make these choices even harder.

Small acts of kindness often begin with one simple decision to show up. 💛

Meet Georgina Puriza, a third-year Bachelor of Commerce in Chartered Accountancy student at the University of Namibia.

After discovering TASK on Facebook, Georgina was inspired by the work being done to support children and families in Walvis Bay. Wanting to give back to her own community, she chose to become part of our volunteer team.

Volunteers like Georgina remind us that meaningful change is built by ordinary people who choose to care.

Hunger isn't always visible.

Sometimes it looks like a child struggling to concentrate in class because they haven't had consistent access to nutritious meals.

Food insecurity affects more than hunger. It influences a child's health, confidence, and ability to learn.

This is why every feeding day matters. Every meal served is made possible through the generosity of people who believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive.
