🎨 E-Waste Environmental-Themed Coloring Competition is Here! ♻️

Primary school students are welcome to join and express their creativity through colors while learning about the importance of electronic waste recycling and contributing to environmental protection!

This competition is organized by JCI Johor Bahru and is open to primary school students aged 7 to 12 years old. With the theme of E-Waste environmental education, children will be able to learn about environmental awareness through coloring and creative expression.

Group A: 7 – 9 years old
Group B: 10 – 12 years old

We are excited to announce that our second **AI-Powered E-Waste Recycling Bin** has officially been launched at **Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru**!

This smart recycling bin utilizes AI visual recognition technology to determine whether an item is classified as electronic waste (e-waste) before it is deposited. The disposal slot will only open when the system confirms that the item is e-waste. If the item is not recognized as e-waste, the slot will remain closed, helping to reduce contamination and improve recycling accuracy.

Toppen Meet & Greet 2026

JCI Johor Bahru was proudly invited by Toppen Shopping Centre to collaborate in their Meet & Greet event. The half‑day program was filled with meaningful highlights, beginning with the recognition of many outstanding tenants who received well‑deserved awards.

A key milestone of the day was the launch of “No Plastic Day”, with Toppen announcing that every 7th of the month will be dedicated to reducing plastic usage — a powerful commitment to sustainability.

The event also provided valuable networking opportunities with collaborators such as SWCorp, FOLO Farm, and Terra Green. Guests enjoyed interactive activities including a hands‑on plant pot workshop and a tree‑planting session, making the occasion both engaging and memorable.
This collaboration not only strengthened community ties but also underscored our shared dedication to environmental responsibility, innovation, and sustainable living.
