What a delightful afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and togetherness at our Garden Hi-Tea! ๐ฟ๐
One of the most heartwarming highlights of the day was seeing the children become Little Chefs as they rolled up their sleeves and took charge of preparing their own afternoon treats. From decorating cakes with colourful toppings to making sandwiches and preparing drinks, the children embraced every task with enthusiasm and pride. ๐ฉโ๐ณ๐จโ๐ณ
The joy on their faces as they showcased their creations was priceless. More importantly, the activities encouraged creativity, teamwork, independence, and meaningful family interaction away from screens.
Parents and family members also enjoyed a relaxing afternoon connecting with one another while watching the little ones learn and have fun. The garden was filled with smiles, conversations, and the simple happiness that comes from spending quality time together.
We were also delighted to welcome YB Connie, who took time to drop by and join the gathering. YB Connie mingled with families, interacted with the children, and shared in the fun and laughter, making the afternoon even more memorable for everyone. Her warm and approachable presence was greatly appreciated by all who attended.
A special note of appreciation goes to Hayzel Cheah, our Organizing Chairperson, whose dedication, planning, and leadership brought this Garden Hi-Tea to life. From conceptualising the programme to ensuring every detail was thoughtfully arranged, her passion and commitment made the event a truly memorable one.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the committee members and volunteers who generously gave their time, energy, and effort behind the scenes. Your teamwork, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve made the programme a great success.
