Daniel的家庭并不富裕。他的父亲是一名夜市小贩，母亲是一位家庭主妇，还有四位兄弟姐妹。然而，家庭的拮据并不是Daniel最大的挑战。在2022年，他被确诊患上了白血病(B-Acute Lymphoblastic leukaemie) 。每周，他需要接受三次治疗和化疗，但即使在政府医院，医疗费用依然是一笔不小的支出。家庭负担沉重，有时甚至无法支付医疗费用，迫使他们不得不减少治疗次数，这对Daniel的健康构成了极大的威胁。
