It was a truly memorable evening filled with mesmerizing performances by the Selangor Symphony Youth Orchestra (SSYO), under the baton of internationally acclaimed maestro Eugene Pook, alongside talented local vocalists Eddie Yang Ting, Angeline Wong Xiao Feng, and Estee Pook at the “End Polio Now” Charity Concert on 22 April 2026 at the prestigious Dewan Filharmonik Petronas.

Congratulations to Organising Chair Dr Chua, the Rotary District 3300 PolioPlus Committee, and President Dr Carmen for delivering a successful and meaningful fundraising event.

Rotary International District 3300 in collaboration with Rotary Club of RP as co-organiser, will be hosting the “End Polio Now” Charity Concert on 22 April 2026 at the prestigious Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, located within the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

This year’s concert is proudly supported by Beacon Hospital, whose commitment to advancing healthcare goes beyond clinical excellence to champion global health initiatives.

Funds raised from the concert will directly support ongoing vaccination and awareness efforts in the fight to eradicate polio worldwide.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this meaningful event, as well as members of the press and media for your valuable coverage and support.

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, the Rotary Club of Rahman Putra, together with members of the Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce, visited six old folks’ homes and orphanages yesterday, distributing fresh fish, shopping vouchers and sharing the spirit and blessings of the festive season.

This marks our second year collaborating with the Rotary Club of Hulu Langat Eco (District 3300) on the Fish for All project — an initiative that supports small-scale farmers while providing vital nutrition to communities in need.

Heartfelt thanks to all donors and participants who took the time to visit the homes and bring festive cheer to the elderly and children. Your kindness truly made this celebration more meaningful.

Rotary Club of Rahman Putra distributed school bags with stationeries, RM200 vouchers for school uniforms and shoes, as well as lunch packs to about 40 deserving students of SJKC Sungai Buloh yesterday.

We are proud to be part of this meaningful initiative by Yayasan Kelab-Kelab Rotary Malaysia – Bag2School V 3.0, which aims to bring smiles and support to schoolchildren across Malaysia.
