🕌Criteria to build Masjid in Japan🇯🇵
1. Perfectionist and Beautiful: ISLAM FOR JAPAN
In Islamic tradition, masjid are considered houses of God and are often designs and architectural beauty. When building a masjid in Japan, it's important to ensure that the design and construction reflect Islamic aesthetics while also blending harmoniously with Japanese architectural design. Promote islam is for Japanese too.
Allah is the king of the King and the Lord of the Great Throne. If you plan to make Allah house, make it clean and beautiful.
2. In Strategic Location: Choosing the right location. Located in the main road or near train station (less than 5-10 minute walk). LAND for BUSINESS AREA is a MUST. Do not build masjid in housing areas as it will create conflict with people surrounding. It should be easily accessible to Muslims living in the area, ensuring that it serves as a community hub for prayers, gatherings, and educational activities.
3. Local Language is a Must: Conducting masjid activities in Japanese is essential for effective communication and outreach to the local community. This includes delivering sermons (khutbahs), organizing educational programs about Islam, and providing social services in a language that Japanese residents understand.
4. Dawah Activity is a Must: Dawah refers to the Islamic practice of inviting others to learn about Islam. In Japan, where Islam may be less familiar to many, masjids play a crucial role in conducting dawah activities. This could involve organizing open houses, cultural events, lectures, and interfaith dialogues to promote mutual understanding and dispel misconceptions about Islam. Engaging in dawah helps build bridges of dialogue and cooperation between Muslims and non-Muslims in Japanese society.
5. Have Income for Halal Business: Generating income through halal businesses can contribute to the financial sustainability of the masjid. Halal refers to practices and products that are permissible under Islamic law, and establishing halal-certified businesses such as restaurants, food markets, or catering services can provide a steady revenue stream for the masjid. This income can support operational expenses, maintenance of facilities, and community outreach efforts.
6-From the beginning stage making the Masjid, please hire a full time manager of the Masjid. (Dont leave the masjid empty without Manager.) Without full time people running it, milllion of fund will be waisted. We need activity for the masjid to be plan and act.
We need more masjid that able to adopt Japanese environment. Masjid that people around love.
