During the meeting yesterday, our members and guests grappled with the meeting theme named "Intention". Ideas were poured on the role of "intention" in our daily lives, whether it outweighed actions done, and how it played with the rising mantra of "living a life with purpose".
It was also a memorable meeting, as new members --- Ivan and Shen Zen --- broke the ice and delivered their first speech. These members represented the intention all members had when they first joined Toastmasters --- to improve on public speaking skills.
Asides from the icebreakers, Natalie, who delivered her second speech, and Myreen, who took upon her shoulders the table topic masters role for the very first time, showed how important it is to persevere once our intent (improve public speaking!!) is set.
