Malaysian Jump Rope Federation has initiated a couple of jump rope competitions since 2003 in Malaysia. Yearly championships had been organized at national level with the help of Ministry of Youth and Sports and the response from each state were overwhelming. In 2004, we participated at the Asian Rope Skipping Championship in Bangkok and manage to bring back 25 gold,30 silver and 2 bronze. We also took part in the World Rope Skipping Championship in Australia in 2005 and achieved 1 bronze for the Masters Speed. In January 2005, we manage to organize a High Performance Jump Rope competition nationally. In the near future, we are planning to hold the Asian Rope Shipping championship in 2015.
