Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian is a Charity Home managed by the Conference of St Ignatius, PJ, Society of St Vincent de Paul, providing a safe environment for girls from 6 to 17 years old & boys from 6 to 12 years, of financially challenged & abused background.

Hungry after mass on 12th July Sunday morning, go where ah? Don't go anywhere, come and fill your tummy at the same time doing a good cause, to give our children a head start in life, for their future.

We are also looking for volunteers to support the operations of the Home and look after our children. Come and see any of us, have a chat over a cup of coffee, on us.

18 April 2025 SSVP Conference of St Ignatius, just had our AGM with the Leong Clan and one Lau holding the fort again. Congratulations Brother President Bill Leong, Sis VP Cynthia Leong, Sis Treasurer Leong Kuan Ee and Sis Secretary Annie Lau (formidable Ls), status quo yet another year to journey together with members as one Vincentian family. May God bless you all and keep you safe, bringing joy and hope for our children entrusted by our good Lord to nurture and love. Stay blessed always!!

It is never easy to say the last goodbye, sister Gertrude, Aunty Gertrude to our RKKI children. A beautiful soul inside and out. She was our home administrator until her retirement, later, she then became a member of the Vincentian family. She had looked after our children with lots of care and dedication. Sometimes, spoiling them with her yummy cooking. She was the first to volunteer to take care the children when our caregivers went on leave, even though they tested the boundaries with her.

Her love for the children will not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, that I am very sure. Till we meet again, over the rainbow, rest well in heavenly peace, sister.

It is the time of the year again, we fast, we pray and we give alms. Yes, Lent is still on and going to end soon, during Holy Week. SSVP members of Conference of St Ignatius, Petaling Jaya are put on alert to sell, Hot Cross Buns. You can pre-order and collect from the home as well. Grateful thanks for your kind support, towards running of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian. May God bless you and your family this Lent and advance Blessed Easter to one and all.

27 Sept 2025 St Vincent de Paul Feast Day was celebrated in St Ignatius Church, PJ, with RKKI children and members giving out of mini mooncakes to the parishioners as a token of appreciation for supporting RKKI. We also managed to sell off all the desk calendars. For all those who may want to get the desk or wall calendars (good idea for a Christmas gift) please contact our administrator, sis Pauline at 0102062413.

Ribuan terima kasih from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot do our works without all your support, Syabas!! We truly appreciate all support rendered to the running of the home.

Our sister home, Rumah Ozanam Petaling Jaya ROPJ, run by SSVP Holy Trinity PJ is having their fund raising events this coming month. 22nd June Coffee Morning at St Ignatius Church, our annual fund raising event was a tremendous success. All sold including the bones of the roast pig!!

On behalf of Society of St Vincent de Paul members and RKKI children, we thank all SIC parishioners and others who came and supported, not forgetting the sponsors who supplied the food and beverages. Till next year, please take care and may God continue to bless you and your family.

JUNE 22, 2025 - keep the date. Drop by for a hot cuppa. Indulge in roast pork, pop corn and our traditional breakfast staples. For a healthy alternative, have a kombucha or leng chee kang. All towards a good cause!!!!
