🤝 Fellowship & Celebration at the R456 Joint Installation

President Lion Tow and our Immediate Past District Governor (IPDG) Lion Jin Han attended the R456 Joint Installation Ceremony, joining fellow Lions in celebrating leadership, fellowship and service.

A special highlight of the evening was seeing Lion Jin Han honoured and recognised as IPDG, a well-deserved recognition of his dedicated leadership and service throughout his term. 🦁👏

Our 2nd Board of Directors & Business Meeting was made even more meaningful with the visit of our Zone Chairperson, Lion Richard Chung.

We sincerely appreciate his presence, encouragement, and valuable insights as we reviewed our club’s annual planner, discussed upcoming service projects, and strengthened our commitment to serving the community. Together, we continue to inspire, lead, and make a positive impact through service.

Orang Asli Project 2026 – Kampung Pian & Paya Sendayan , Pahang

A meaningful multi-cause service project jointly organized by Lions and Leo Clubs, bringing together volunteers to serve the Orang Asli community through:

* Vision Care – Vision screening and eye health services.
* Environment – Planting 50 trees to promote sustainability and create a greener future.
* Disaster Preparedness – Fire safety awareness and dry powder fire extinguisher demonstration.
* Legacy Project – Installation of signboards and community improvements.
* Humanitarian Service – Distribution of aid to 189 families, 39 baby families, and 22 solar light beneficiaries.
* Hunger Relief – Providing meals for approximately 700 Orang Asli residents, Lions and Leo volunteers.
* Youth & Sports – Fun games and activities for Orang Asli children.
* Health Education – Toothbrushing awareness program with Lions demonstrating proper brushing techniques using dentures.
* NGO & Corporate Collaboration – Educational talks and examinations by BCWA and NCSM, together with support from corporate partners.
* Community Engagement – Collaboration with the Kampung Pian & Paya Sendayan village leadership to strengthen community development.

The Orang Asli project also included a fire safety awareness demonstration, with the Lions Club of KL Agape Star taking the lead in procuring the dry powder fire extinguishers used during the session. This hands-on demonstration helped community members learn basic fire safety knowledge and the proper use of fire extinguishers in emergency situations. Lions International District 308B1 Malaysia

As part of our Orang Asli Project in Kampung Pian, Pahang, one of our key causes was promoting good oral hygiene among the children. Our Lions members conducted a fun and interactive tooth-brushing education session, using oversized denture models to demonstrate proper brushing techniques.

By teaching healthy habits at a young age, we hope to encourage better dental care and brighter smiles for the future. This project, jointly organized by Lions and Leo Clubs, is another example of our commitment to serving communities through meaningful and sustainable initiatives.

The Orang Asli Project at Kampung Pian, Pahang was successfully carried out through the joint efforts of 21 Lions and Leo Clubs. As part of this meaningful legacy project, trees were planted to support environmental sustainability while benefiting the local community.

This is one of the many causes we proudly serve, demonstrating our commitment to making a lasting impact through service, collaboration, and care for future generations.

President and members were proud to participate in the Karnival Pencegahan Kelemasan Sedunia 2026 organized by Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia. Together, we support water safety awareness, drowning prevention education, and lifesaving skills that help create safer communities.

A great start to the new Lions year!

Our R4Z7 1st Zone Meeting was successfully conducted by our Zone Chairperson, Richard Chung. It was a productive session filled with updates, discussions, and the sharing of ideas as clubs work together to strengthen our service together.

Looking forward to another meaningful year of serving our communities and making a positive impact together.
