After learning to stay present with big emotions, we now turn towards conversations of 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐃𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐬 where many adults find it difficult... 💭

Children often sense more than we realise. Even when words are left unspoken, they notice changes, emotions, and uncertainty around them. When difficult conversations are avoided, children are often left to make sense of what is happening on their own 🧩

In this workshop, we will 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 in ways that are honest, gentle, and developmentally appropriate. Through a play therapy lens, we will reflect on how connection, attunement, and compassionate communication can 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 as they navigate grief, loss, and uncertainty 🤝💛

Together, we will experience practical play therapy tools such as:
🧸 𝑻𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔
Exploring how children often ask difficult questions through play and how we can respond with honesty and empathy.

Understanding the meanings children create when information is missing, and how stories can help them express worries, fears, and hopes.

Reflecting on the words children carry with them and how our communication can become a source of comfort, safety, and connection.

Because when conversations feel heavy, children do not need perfect words. They need adults who are willing to listen, be truthful, and walk alongside them. 🌈

"Tetapi dalam penjagaan paliatif kanak-kanak, pendekatan yang kami ambil adalah 'menggunakan masa'," katanya ✅✅✅

👉📰 Marilah kita mengenali kisah seorang penjaga Lini Ismadi dan bagaimana bantuan paliatif telah mengubah kehidupannya. 🧸💙

DI sebalik keindahan setiap kelahiran, ada keluarga yang perlu belajar menerima kenyataan bahawa cahaya mata baharu mereka mungkin tidak akan sempat menikmati kehidupan seperti kanak-kanak lain.

From 29 May to 7 June 2026, MAPPAC successfully held an 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026 at World Trade Centre KL Pesta Buku Antarabangsa (PWTC)

We are truly grateful to everyone who stopped by to listen, learn, and support us, and to those who took the opportunity to donate and stand with our mission 💙

On 5 June 2026, a meaningful 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 was held with moderator Ms Kathryn, speaker Dr Shamini, Ms Xin Yi, and Puan Lini, who shared heartfelt insights on 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 (𝗖𝗣𝗖) and their journey with MAPPAC.

Together, they spoke about the realities faced by children with life-limiting illnesses, the importance of supporting families, and the role MAPPAC plays in improving quality of life through compassionate care. We sincerely thank everyone who joined us, both physically and via LIVE broadcast.
