Looking back at a weekend well spent for International Macaque Week! ๐๐
This year, we hosted two back-to-back educational programmes, exploring the incredible world of our primate neighbours through two very different lenses๐

We headed into the rainforest of Taman Eko Rimba Bukit Mertajam (Cherok Tokun) to explore the intricate relationship between humans, monkeys, and nature. We experienced firsthand how physical connection with the natural world opens hearts and minds to conservation. Through fun and immersive activities, our participants experienced what it was like to be "citizen scientists" for a day - getting hands on with binoculars, learning how to "read" monkey expressions, and even setting up camera traps!๐ (who said learning about nature can't be fun?!๐)

Magic does happens when sustainable farming meets wildlife conservation! We had an unforgettable day at the Inno Eco Durian Farm, where we explored the intersection of agriculture and wildlife. A huge thanks to Mr. Chang of Inno Eco Durian Farm for showing us how sustainable farming supports a balanced ecosystem. We also shared about our latest e-comic, "The Story of Sebastian," to highlight the important message of Primates are NOT Pets!๐ซโ
Whether we were under the rainforest canopy or surrounded by the aroma of durians, our goal remained the same: Fostering peaceful human-monkey coexistenceโจ To all participants who joined us this round, thank YOU for this weekend a success. Your support makes our mission possible! โค๏ธ
Stay tuned...The Connection 5.0 might be closer than you think! ๐๐
