MIYC Pasir Gudang MALAYSIAN INDIAN YOUTH COUNCIL Malaysian Indian Youth Council (MIYC) is the largest Indian youth based national organization in Malaysia.

MIYC has successfully established 14 State Council with more than 300 Branches and 11 Associates Members organization with more than 60,000. The formation of MIYC was initiated by the founder of MIYC, Viveka Sri Rajaretinam Armugam in small social gathering on 12th November 1991. Final documentation of the formation was submitted on 17th April 1992. The MIYC registration was approved and certifica

te was issued by registrar of society, Malaysia on 1st December 1993. The First Annual General Meeting of MIYC was held on 23rd January 1994 at Vivekanandha Ashramam, Brickfield Kuala Lumpur. Viveka Sri Muthuveloo Chinna was elected as the first President of MIYC and Viveka Sri Rajaretinam Armugam was appointed as the first honorable Secretary General of MIYC.

31st July 2004 was important date in history of MIYC. After 10 years of struggle, finally MIYC was officially declared as full board member of Malaysian Youth Council (MBM). 25th May 2006, the long waited MIYC cooperative was formed and obtained the license to operate nationwide.
