VFPDS has just neutered another stray named MAMA DICKSON on 29 July 2026. She’s a 6 year old wondering stray that has been littering over and over in a never ending vicious cycle. That’s one more saved endless suffering thru TNR. We cannot save all; but we can help one dog at a time when the resources are available 🙏

Dog Owner just updated that the missing dog has since been found and is now back home safe and sound — God Bless.

Ramai orang angkat kucing ikut cara yang paling mudah. Tetapi tidak semua cara memberi sokongan yang baik pada badan kucing.

Untuk kucing dewasa, cara yang betul ialah menyokong dua bahagian utama:

• Satu tangan di bawah dada, belakang kaki hadapan.
• Satu lagi tangan menyokong bahagian punggung dan kaki belakang.
• Pastikan badan kucing rapat dengan dada anda supaya dia rasa lebih stabil dan selamat.
• Elakkan menggantung keseluruhan berat badan pada bahagian dada atau ketiak sahaja.

Jangan:
• Angkat menggunakan tengkuk (scruff) bagi kucing dewasa.
• Pegang dengan satu tangan di bawah dada sahaja sehingga kaki belakang tergantung.
• Tarik atau angkat menggunakan kaki atau ekor.

Kucing yang berasa disokong dengan baik biasanya lebih tenang, kurang meronta, dan mengurangkan risiko kecederaan pada tulang belakang serta sendi.

Cara kita mengangkat mungkin nampak remeh, tetapi bagi kucing, ia boleh menentukan sama ada pengalaman itu selesa atau menakutkan.
