A Fight Between Hope and Uncertainty

Black Siburan is doing well after his first chemotherapy injection. We’re so relieved to see that his tumors have reduced significantly, and he is responding well to the treatment. ❤️

But unfortunately, Baumama has not been so lucky.
Her body did not respond well to the chemotherapy. She has become much weaker and is now unable to eat on her own. She needs force-feeding and daily IV drips just to keep her going.

At this moment, her chance of making it through is 50/50. 🙏

Two dogs, two different responses to the same treatment — and both are fighting for their lives.

Please keep Black Siburan and Baumama in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️

Another life we simply couldn’t walk away from…

Today, we rescued another dog suffering from TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumour).

Another long and difficult treatment journey just like the other TVT cases we have taken in, her recovery will not happen overnight.

🐾 One month of treatment for blood parasites(tick fever )

🐾 Followed by weekly TVT chemotherapy until the tumour is gone

🐾 Once she has recovered, she will undergo TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) to prevent more unwanted litters and help break the cycle of suffering.

一样也是漫长的治疗过程，一个月的血液寄生虫治疗，然后再每个星期的 TVT chemo 治疗，最后是 TNVR.

Update on Blacksiburan

Despite his severely infected and rotten eyes, he has shown an incredibly strong will to survive and a very good appetite. ❤️

Further tests have confirmed that he is suffering from tick fever and TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumour).

His journey will be a long one. After receiving his rabies vaccination and core vaccinations, he will be transferred to shelter, where he will undergo one month of treatment for tick fever to stabilise and strengthen his body.
Only after he is strong enough and the tick fever is under control then he will begin his TVT chemo injections.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has contributed, supported, encouraged and stood by us.

Without your support and encouragement, we honestly cannot imagine how we could have made it this far.We are struggling, but every helping hand reminds us that we are not alone ❤️

To be honest, we are struggling to survive with more than 200 dogs in our shelter but when we saw this poor soul, we simply couldn’t turn away ！

🙏 A huge thank you to the kind-hearted person who found this dog and helped bring it to the vet.

The initial examination revealed heartbreaking conditions:
🐾 Both eyes are blind, severely infected and already badly rotten

🐾 Its entire body is covered with ticks

🐾 Severely malnourished and extremely weak

Looking at its frail body, we honestly cannot understand how it managed to survive until now？How long has it been suffering out there?

❤️ We may not be able to save them all, but if we can save this one, then it is worth trying. But we can't do this alone, We need everyone s help towards its medical treatment.

After learning about our shelter’s rice shortage, pawfessional philanthropists Zuri & Jewel of GS Uniform Sdn Bhd GS Uniform Sdn Bhd convened an emergency Paw-Board Meeting and reached a unanimous decision: DONATE 50 BAGS OF RICE🍚

The Chief Tail Officers personally delivered the donation, while the Pawfessional Treat Inspector conducted a thorough inspection and confirmed that the mission of turning wagging tails into full tummies had been successfully accomplished. ✨
Thank you, Zuri & Jewel, for proving once again that kindness truly is a dog’s best friend.💞
