Meet Eston Tan, a Malaysian artist based in Taiwan whose 25-year journey has been shaped by light, faith, loss and an unwavering search for his own artistic voice.

His work is inspired by the people and experiences closest to him — from his family and the birth of his children, to loss, travel, faith and moments of change. These experiences have shaped the way he paints, moving from landscapes and realism towards a more personal and expressive style.

For Eston, painting is not just about creating something beautiful. It is a way to process life, express emotions and stay honest with himself.

Meet Tzu-Jo Chen 陳芷若

Born in Taipei, Tzu-Jo Chen is a contemporary artist whose works bring together the quiet language of traditional ink painting with the shifting layers of memory, experience and place, weaving together fragments of everyday life into intricate compositions of colour, texture and emotion.

Her work explores memory, place and all the things we choose to keep — or let fade.

Meet Anne Koh — where music becomes colour.

Drawing inspiration from orchestral music and the expressive energy of performance, the Malaysian artist Anne Koh brings rhythm and emotion into her paintings through colour, movement and gesture.

Her paintings are shaped by a deep personal connection to music, particularly through her twin nephews, accomplished cellists on the international stage. This influence can be felt in the rhythm and fluidity of her brushwork, where each stroke carries its own sense of movement and emotion.

Working in oil and watercolour, Anne creates paintings that are expressive, vibrant and deeply personal.

A little like music, each painting has its own rhythm.
