Global Road Safety Alliance is a community-driven road safety movement under Global Empowerment focused on education, advocacy and safer mobility for all.

Over the years, we have worked alongside communities, schools, universities, organizations, industry partners and public agencies to create meaningful road safety awareness and life-saving education initiatives across Malaysia and beyond.

Our work includes:

• Child Passenger Safety education and advocacy
• Road safety awareness campaigns and community outreach
• University collaborations and youth empowerment programs
• Blind spot awareness and heavy vehicle safety initiatives

Today marks a significant step forward in strengthening road safety efforts in Malaysia.

The Global Road Safety Alliance (GLO) is proud to formalize our collaboration with TAR UMT through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding — a shared commitment to drive sustained awareness, behavioural change, and community engagement.

What began as a campus activation has now grown into a long-term partnership focused on:
- Real-world driver awareness
- Behavioural understanding on the road
- Community-driven education

This collaboration reflects an important shift — from one-off campaigns to structured, continuous impact across communities and future drivers.

We look forward to working closely with TAR UMT to expand this effort nationwide.

This is how movements begin. And more importantly, how they continue.

SPOT IT! – We’ve Started.

13 April 2026 marked more than just a launch.
It marked the beginning of something we intend to take across Malaysia.

At TAR UMT, together with students, lecturers, partners, and industry, we brought road safety out of theory and into real experience.

Because road safety is not something you read.
It’s something you see, feel, and understand in real life.

From standing beside a prime mover truck and realising how invisible you are…
to stepping into a driver’s perspective and understanding blind spots…
this is where awareness becomes decision-making.

For years, CPSM has focused on protecting children in vehicles.

But one truth became clear:
A child can be safely seated,
but if the road is unsafe, the child is still at risk.

That is why we step forward as GLO (Global Road Safety) —
an on-ground movement focused on changing behaviour, not just raising awareness.

This programme was made possible by partners who believe in action:
- Kontena Nasional – bringing real-scale demonstration with their prime mover
- GoCar – enabling practical vehicle engagement
- Teaspoon – supporting on-ground student engagement

And to the students of TAR UMT—
you didn’t just participate, you experienced. That’s where change begins.
This does not stop here.

We are taking Spot It! further:
- More universities
- More states
- More communities

We are calling:
