On 20 and 21 August 2026, Datuk Professor Sundra Rajoo, President of AIADR, was invited for the New York Convention Judicial Colloquium, organised by the Supreme Court of the Philippines and the Philippine Judicial Academy.
The Colloquium brought together members of the judiciary, arbitration practitioners and other stakeholders to exchange perspectives on key issues surrounding international arbitration and the application of the New York Convention.
Datuk Professor Sundra Rajoo was invited to contribute to several sessions during the programme, speaking on:
* Asserting and Defending Sovereign Immunity
* Interim Relief in Support of Arbitration
* State of Play in International Arbitration in the Philippines – Interactive Plenary Roundtable
Drawing on his decades of experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, Datuk Sundra Rajoo shared practical perspectives and insights from his work in the field, contributing to the discussions and exchange of views among fellow speakers and participants.
We are delighted AIADR had the opportunity to contribute to this important dialogue and to the wider exchange of knowledge and experience within the international arbitration community.
